PES main campus perfect place for master, it was amazing

PES Main college is top college in Bangalore. College is really good for masters,Lot of placements are offered here,and the students not only excelled in academics but they did well in the extracurricular activities also. Hostel is good, Library and infrastructure is good,overall experience which i had was really nice.

I Wrote PGCET(post graduate common entrance test).I secured ranking between 160-197(approx) i dont remember properly.I wanted to masters in industrial production engineering.It was quite interesting topic for me that y i had chosen it, no there was no interview process was followed, I had done my mechanical in bachelor that's y i have to move on with this course since it was interesting

The Course which i had chosen was very good and it was up to my expectation,they was lot of focus on practical learning in my college, the labs were well equipped. Yes they were lot of research initiative taken for institute. Each and every branch in the college, had there own research initiative,carried on. I don't remember much about the elective option which were available. But according to my knowledge they were almost 2-3 elective for us in each semester

Yes, college gave 100% support for internship.College acted as the medium between the companies and the students to provide an internship. The experience was very good.I did my masters project in thermal comfort and inside passenger comfort.We usually received an average stipend amount of Rs.8000-10000 monthly,stipend amount almost depends upon the company on which u r doing the internship.

They were no much placement give to the masters compare to bachelor degree. But still some of the companies like HCL,BOSCH,CONTINENTAL AUTOMATION,In masters alost 70-80% of students were getting placed.They average package was around 6-10 lakhs. The placement cell was pretty much active in our college

They were no much events for the master, but the college conducted lots of events for the bachelor degree(UG students).

Since i got an admission in this college through PGCET and according to my ranking my fees was 63000 INR per year that is 2 semester,yes the fees was quite affordable for the asters degree.

College provided lots of scholarship and loans for the needy students.I did not avail any scholarship or loan.

As i said before college conducted lots of events and this gave an opportunities for all the students to excel and bring out their inner talents.

I did not stay in hostel, i was the day scholar. According to the knowledge the hostel was good(as heard by my friends). Food provided was average

Yes alumni meeting happens once in a semester.

They were 3 internals conducted in our college out of which the best 2 were selected.It was a chill culture,no much stress was put up on the student.

Most of our facilities are ph.D. holders and very few were holding master degree. Thus standard of teaching was very good. They were very interactive with the students. They always guided the students apart from academics also. The college usually hired well experienced faculties, they rarely moved on with the freshers.
