Likes

Faculty is filled with great professors in respective departments
Library consists of books and journals. Very helpful for students.
Campus life is very happening and well managed by the university.

Dislikes

The departments are pretty far from each other so it's better to have a commute such as cycle
The admission procedure could be a little faster as per the course duration

Course Curriculum Overview

The respectable faculty is well-experienced and regular in providing routine lectures. All of them have completed their Post Docs from recognized universities across the globe. The exams are held at the proper time and the course structure is well-balanced.

Class Size: 18Course Fees: INR 7870 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various govt. providing scholarships available for pursuing the courses. The university officials are well aware and very helpful in providing them as per the govt. guidelines. You can get SVMCM, Kanyashree, and PG Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

There are clubs,k social hangout places across the campus. The university library is filled up with great books and informational journals. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged very much.

Admission

The admission process was via online mode and the cut-off was 70% for the respective stream. Students from a BSc (Hons) background in physics or chemistry are eligible for the course. I want that the merit lists for the admitting courses should be a little earlier for the betterment of the course duration.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

ISI kolkata, a place to go for.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good.But if you are looking for placement I would suggest to join M Stat or MSQE rather than M Math. M.Math students mostly go for higher studies. Regarding you will better recommendations in ISI.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of our university is quite good and it is getting better day by day. Especially our chemistry department is doing great in this field. Last year our dept almost hit 100% placements and the highest package was of 5 lpa. I am planning to peruse my PhD after MSc.

Placement Experience:

The students from the 3rd semester become eligible for campus placement. TCS, WIPRO, BISLERI, AMUL, etc visited no. Of offers are 1-10 in general. The highest package of 4-5 lakhs and the average is 2-2.5 lakhs in general. percentage of students getting placements is generally 60-70%. I want to be a food microbiologist and want to job in the food industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The future job profile for this subject is quite good. That's why I selected this course. The faculty: student ratio is 1:8 The qualification of all the faculties is PhD and their teaching method is very interesting. There is 3 exams (2 internals and 1 semester) in a six month semester. It's neither very easy nor very difficult to pass the exams.

I chose this college because it was three hours away from my home and it was a dream of mine to get into this college so I chose the college and the Adams Fair there was a very good environment so I chose the college and the college fees there were also very low so I chose the college.
