I chose the course to pursue my bachelor's in computer science. Teacher to student ratio is 1 to 70. Most of the teachers are qualified but some are here through recommendations from famous politicians. Term exams happen after a gap of 1 month and correction is very strict. Students are failed on purpose to make money from the summer semester and auxiliary exams.

The roles offered under internships can vary based on the company's requirements and the student's skills and interests. They can range from software development, business analysis, financial analysis, marketing, and more

Generally, students become eligible for campus placements in their final semesters. Companies from various sectors like IT, finance, consulting, etc., visit the campus to recruit students.Some popular companies that visit campuses for placements include Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Cognizant, and Wipro.The percentage of students getting placements can vary from 60 to 80%.

The fees are too high. But One of the standout aspects of Thapar College is the emphasis on experiential learning. Throughout my time there, I had opportunities to participate in internships, research projects, and study abroad programs that allowed me to apply what I was learning in the classroom to real-world situations. These experiences helped me to develop critical thinking skills and prepare me for my future career.
