Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To be honest , my course is pretty good as compare to other combination of BA programme Faculty is good as they are interactive towards you , if you want to seek knowledge they are more happy to my class has 110 student and we got a teacher per subject . All the professor are Ph.d .and most of them are graduated and post graduated by Delhi University itself.we have semester wise distribution of our graduation. So in 6 month we have and end sem exams and between the 6 month period we have to submit assignment,a presentation or a project .

Internships Opportunities

3.5

We have a intership portal which is organised by intership cell a society works for intership . We get notification whenever new opportunities are open . And different types of intership like product management, finance , content writing, etc some are with stipend upto 5-10000 per month but some are unpaid intership both type of internship are available.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes our college provide placement and they are good . The avg package for the last session is 7 lakh per annum and the major mnc s are recruiting from our college on different profiles like finance , consulting . But for our course mainly 2 profile are recruited and they are consulting and sales .

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees is 21000 per annum and my course is for 3 year and for bsc the fee is 24000 per annum I don't have any idea about the scholarship . But we have a good placement opportunities. Big companies like EY , Deloitte, bain etc are offering jobs in the campus on the profile of finance and consulting.

Campus Life

4

We haven't been organising the annual fest of our college since 2018. As due to COVID and not favourable condition but as our college is situated in North Campus. The neighbour college are open to us and we can go and participate in different kind of competition there . We have different kind of society and they organise event as well in which we can have fun and simultaneously grow our soft skills .

Admission

See , in the session 2021-22 we got selected by merits , there was cut off released by delhi University and according to our percentage of best four subjects in 12th class ,we got admission through the official delhi University website under the admission portel , cut offs are different for different reservation categories. But now an entrance exam is conducted named as CUET . For which I don't have that much knowledge right now

Other Applied Colleges

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College | Bachelor of Arts [BA]

I got a better combination at hansraj so I just cancelled my admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always had a keen interest in history, so I also wanted to pursue it in my graduation and I was able to do it. the curriculum covers vast amount of topics as we have 3 core papers per semester, which then increases to 4 in the 3rd year. there are papers covering indian history, European history and a particular country per semester- like,USA, china, japan, etc. an option for gender studies paper is also given in the 3rd year. i liked the course dynamic and therefore felt it would be interesting for me to study. for my future pursuits I feel the course covers a great deal of topics and helps me understand better as we also study a lot of historians and scholars apart from the just historical facts. But there are always improvements which I feel can be taken up, like including more practical and immersive teaching methods as just reading about history often make the course dull and uninteresting, though the professors keep providing us with valuable insights and material to study from. One has internals throughout the semester, which becomes even more hectic during the last month before the end sems as a lot of deadlines comes up, but if possible one should aim to do their internals as soon as one can and not delay as it helps prevent multiple deadlines before the exams. the difficulty levels vary from exams to exams in the internals; some assignments are more research-based based and professors expect you to do them on very academic level using research papers and official websites, unlike school, so it requires a good amount of reading and research.

Placements are not very good as the college has a separate placement cell, but somehow it is not as good as others Delhi University colleges. Very minimal companies offer some job and placement opportunites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of BA English Honours program is well structured and quite comprehensive, making it suitable for students who wish to build a strong foundation in literature through distance learning. This makes progress relevant not just for academic growth but also for students preparing for competitive exams. Overall the curriculum scores high on core content and literary depth but would benefit from periodic updates and greater engagement through interactive components

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I am interested to know about are culture, history and etc. As per my opinion, desirable ratio is 1:10 and minimum is 1:15 deficiency in case of ratio higher than 1:15. The proposed assessment is based on variation in ratio from 1:10 to 1:20 with maximum to proportional marks respectively. I suggest focusing on what is important and that is student achievement. It doesn't really matter who it is done as long as the students learn the material. I would suggest setting up course learning objectives and then assess how well the students learned the material. Exam had unclear or ambiguous questions or instructions. Exam required knowledge and skills that students did not have sufficient opportunity to practice. Students blame the instructor for their poor performance.
