Honest review of Hansraj college

I opt this course (Bsc hons chemistry) because it is easy as compared to others like physics or maths . The teaching method of allmost all the teachers is good . The frequency and timings of the exams acc to me is not so bad there is enough time to attempt all the questions in the exam.

The fees structure vary according to course . Fees for chemistry hons for first year is approx 29500 for all the students. The scholarship is according to category and family income. And in the next year (2nd year) scholarship is according to marks obtained during first year and family income. The fees is higher than that of other colleges of delhi university north campus. For example . the fees for ramjas college for chemistry hons is approx 20000.

Students actively participate in clubs, fests, and cultural events, which create a lively atmosphere. The environment is friendly and supportive, helping students build strong friendships and grow personally. Overall, the campus life is enjoyable and adds memorable experiences to college life. The annual fest of Hansraj college is "Confluence".it is typically held in march-April There are enough books for each course and there is also a simple process to issue them The sports ground are also big and good there is also an indoor ground of badminton, table tennis also

Students often choose Hansraj College over other Delhi University colleges due to its strong academic reputation, vibrant campus life, particularly for commerce and science courses. While other colleges like Hindu and SRCC may have their own strengths, Hansraj stands out for its well-rounded student experience and strong alumni network. I applied for hindu, ramjas college. But my first preference is Hansraj College over them bcoz of above mentioned points. I didn't get rejection from any other colleges because it's my first preference. The addmission for Hansraj college is through CUET -UG .

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:40. Faculty to students relationship is good except some cases. The faculty members are easily approachable. I like Dr. Monika Dinodia madam bcoz of her teaching style and she understands students problem. There are 3 core subjects and apart from that sec , vac , aec and ge are the subjects.

Nightlife is not as expected around Hansraj college. The shops closes about 12PM . Gym is not also good , it's size is small and also college charges for it Cafeterias are good . Library is good and also provide books for each course.
