A true review about DU

Students often choose Hansraj College over other Delhi University colleges due to its strong academic reputation, vibrant campus life, particularly for commerce and science courses. While other colleges like Hindu and SRCC may have their own strengths, Hansraj stands out for its well-rounded student experience and strong alumni network. I applied for hindu, ramjas college. I had applied to other Du north Campus college as well Such as Kirori mal, ramjas, SGTB and venkateshwar College as well. But out of all these colleges the course i opt at mine was the top rated course in whole DU at my college So my preference was with Hansraj only first of all And also the environment of the course was really good. For admissions you have to go through Cuet and clear that in order to get admission The minimum cutoff for my course would be around 500/600 to get hansraj for a general category student...Read More

I chose this college because of its stellar crowd and opportunities that are available here. Something which went wrong in my ceut preparation due to which I could not get a better college that is SRCC is basically silly mistakes in my exams and nothing else. I missed the cutoff for SRCC by 1 question and thats all. The admission process was quite easy as there is a common portal called the CSAS portal through which the admission process took place and everything was online and quite easy. I applied to St. Xavier's Kolkata and was selected in their Bsc Eco hons program. However when I got Hansraj , I withdrew my admission simply because of the vast networking experience I will get at Hansraj which is a little less in St Xavier's. The eligibility for Hansraj is CUET exam where one has to appear for english plus accountancy/mathematics and 2 other subjects that they have studied in their Class 12. The admission process is based on CUET scores. Based on that, your name is shortlisted. There is no interview process in my college. You just have accept your college allotment and pay the course fees. The entire admission process takes place on Delhi University's admission counselling website. Reservation benefts are available. See , in the session 2021-22 we got selected by merits , there was cut off released by delhi University and according to our percentage of best four subjects in 12th class ,we got admission through the official delhi University website under the admission portel , cut offs are different for different reservation categories. I took admission in Hansraj College by giving the grade 12 board exams back in 2020. This was before the introduction of CUET. You can apply in the Delhi University colleges from the university portal as soon as the cut off list for each college is released. The cut off list includes the percentage of reserved categories as well. The admission process can be sometimes confusing and it's better if DU could write all the respective rules in the first few pages of the portal....Read More
