Remarks
I was eligible for my course and it was really easy to find the application form, fees and dates links as all can be found on the DU website. But DU does need to invest in a better server as there are times when even in low traffic the server won't work or you'll reach up to some step in half an hour when it should actually take you a couple of minutes.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose my English honors degree because I was genuinely interested in literature. In our college the student-to-faculty ratio is fine. we have only 50-something students and about 40 attend classes so we don't have much issue interacting with professors but I do wish they'd improve their teaching method. It literally took me and most of my other classmates to get a sense of what was being taught after only about 1.5 years into the course. exams were pretty easy to pass but I think that actually adds to the leniency of professors. They think and they are actually right in thinking so, that only reading and analyzing the text is enough for passing the exams. The faculty needs to guide their students in a better way for their future careers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is fine, it's a government University, and a normal middle-class family can afford it easily it does get harder for ews people but they do have scholarships. One thing I've noticed is that the process for ews people gets tedious and tiring. I'm not eligible for scholarships and stuff as my family is ok financially, and the internship game of DU is weak let's admit it than most of the other universities, even in science fields.
Campus Life
The fest and its quality really do depend on the college u are in. Many north campus colleges have good fests and south campus or off campuses generally are not as good. some colleges hold annual functions like schools in the name of the fest. Lots of societies are there in every college and some get the bare minimum funds tbh. The library is impressive in my college at least, its infrastructurally well and most books are available. off-campus colleges have no campus life as is obvious by the name and on-campus colleges do as is suggested by the name again.
