Remarks

I have got admission by percentage. I had sc quota but my percentage was high in the general category. I had applied for the entrance exam also which I passed easily but when I had to choose for admission I chose the percentage-based method. The admission criteria were very simple you have ba with min. 50-55 marks and there are no age limitations for this course. I had to bring my all documents with me when I was seeking admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always held that the training I recieved during my masters programme prepared the grounds for my future development. The teaching pedagogy was centres around participation and a two way dialogue. I am not in the capacity to be suggesting improvements in curriculum as my stint in the university was almost perfect- more than I could have ever asked for.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed by the renowned professors and faculty members from different universities in India and from abroad as well. The content was choosen keeping in mind to cover all the aspects of the specific subject for a pg student. As I mentioned before, the quality of study material was very good and helpful and very enough. But the pg thesis is missing from our course, due to which we were not able to do a research project. It appears to me after the completion of my first year that we can do our research under our given faculty but it wasn't mentioned in the course structure as it is mainly upto our faculties.

You don’t have to attend regular college; you can study at home using the books, PDFs, and online lectures. IGNOU also provides online teachers through live classes, recorded videos, and doubt-clearing sessions on their online platforms. This makes it easy for students to learn even if they are working or living in another city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.

It is often recommended curriculum for UPSC/MPSC/political journalism. However they need to provide teachers or short video lectures do that the course become comprehensive.
