Remarks

The admission process this time is entirely different from ours as we got merit-based admission whereas this time students will get CUET-based admission. In order to avail of the Reservation, one must have proper documents at Central Level.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I had commerce as my stream in the 12th class. This course is a perfect combination of BCA and Bcom. You get better practical knowledge in this course. The student-teacher ratio is just perfect. Not too many students in a class which makes it easy for doubt solving. The faculty is well qualified and they have ample knowledge about the subject they are teaching. The teaching method is much more practical.

The college placement cell named Aspire under the leadership of Dr Gauri Mishra is one of the best placement cells at the University of Delhi. The college offers on campus as well as off-campus placements on the basis of your score and overall performance.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into 2 parts. The exam fee is separate for practical as well as theory exams. The course fees are different for different courses. The average fees are around 30000. A stipend of 6k was given.

Campus Life

The college hosts a sports day and a lot of athletics and other activities take place there. The college has 2 computer labs both are really good and properly maintained. Basketball coaching is provided in the morning in the college. The college also has a good NCC wing.

Hostel Facilities

Ac/bed/kitchen was provided. The new building has a good infrastructure. The old building is neatly maintained and the garden area is very beautiful. The administration department could improve a bit more by going digital.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Placement Experience:

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

My pov of college

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
