Course Curriculum Overview
The bcom curriculum is designed by the Delhi university and covers core commerce subjects accounting, taxation, management, etc. I have interest in commerce, thats why i chose this I think theory subjects should be modified as they are really boring and content is repetitive Exams are conducted every semester
Internships Opportunities
Students start getting internship opportunities from Semester 1. Our placement cell is really active and work hard to bring good companies, they also organise internship fair every year Internship opportunities are paid and unpaid both available
Placement Experience
From 3rd year, students become eligible for placements Avg package is 4-6 LPA Top recruiters are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, TCS, etc 20-30% students get directly placed from campus I won't be sitting for placements as my plan is to do CA
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fees for bcom is around 16000 rs. Other than this, Exam form fees is also there depending on how many practical subjects and how many theoretical subjects you have, that costs around 3000rs per semester. Recently the college fees is gradually increasing evry semester
Campus Life
Our Annual fest name is SAPTRANG, though we don't get enough budget to call big celebrities, yet our college conducts a very good and enjoyable fest, calls a good band. All the societies are really active and push the students to their dreams
Admission
This is the best evening college of the delhi university. To take admission in any college of DU, you have to follow the process of cuet. I did the same but couldn't make it to north campus clg, and this college was among some moderate clgs for me in the list, so i went with this as the evening college timings helped me with my CA prep
Faculty
The facult to student ratio is well good. And with mostly teachers, students build a friendly and safe relationship. And mostly teachers are really supportive and approachable. For me, the best faculty is seema chaudhary ma'am, she is accounting faculty, really cooperative and supportive I don't like kavita yadav ma'am, she never listens and just casually calls anyone anything without any hesitation.
Night Life
Our college doesn't provide hostel facility, so there are PGs and flats all around the college area i.e. sheikh sarai. And go to place for every sbsc student is Authority, the place has every shop possible and tasty tasty food stalls, just love to go there and have chai at night. Nightlife is also safe for girls as there is enough security
