The college has a good infratucture and the canteens are also very good .
I am realy found of the library since it is raly comfy and a great place to study

Dislikes

There is a minimum attendence criteria of 67.7% which is bad.
During election peoples come sometime between the class which is disturbing for all

A tour to SBSEC

Likes

The facilities provided in a government University.
The canteen is also well maintained and the food is pocket friendly.

Dislikes

The ground is not accessible due to ongoing construction.
Much sports facilities are not available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course comprises if accounting and management subjects. It is a commerce programme and we are taught skills to be corporate ready. The curriculum is very vast and comprehensive targeting every required subject.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College Pride for students.

Likes

In the SBSEC crowd is good and the student belong from different cultures which show cultural equality and no barrier between them
Infrastructure are in development phase which show how SBSEC active for the student so that student get attractive

Dislikes

Principal of SBSEC not giving permission to organise fest in the college so that students communication build up.
Due to hectic schedule of college extra curriculum activity not get easily managed with graduation degree. In SBSEC take 5 Lectures on daily basis.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a commerce student mostly wants to graduate from the course like B.Com Program or B.Com Hons. And I'm pursuing B.Com program with CA Course so that easy to handle both courses. After the NEP Delhi University offers various course like Skill Enhancement Course, Value Added Course etc which helpful to learn extra thing which is beyond the course. It includes like Digital Empowerment, Financial Literacy, Communication In professional life etc. These are the extra subject which helps to development in skill as well as personal growth.

Likes

The circular campus with redbreaks is very aesthetically beautiful
The college has so many society's clubs and the placements are also decent

Dislikes

The timings sometimes go till 8:30 in the night and in winters it is very inconvenient
The college doesn't allow any fancy fests or concerts They just give permissions for cultural

After the new education policy the curriculum has changed it is more inclined towards practical use of knowledge. New practical courses like skill enhancement course and value addition courses are also being added which are really helpful in building new skills

Likes

Every class room has AC. Which is helpful in summer.
Teachers are regular and take class everyday. Humble and supportive teacher.

Dislikes

The college doesn't allowed college fest on larger level they dont invite any special artist.
The attendance issue is very tight and if you dont Fullfill the criteria you will get detained.

The curriculum is more practical based in NEP which helps us to prepare for real world challenges. Plus the personality development courses are also present in every semester which are helpful in process level.

A True review of SBSEC.

Likes

Professors are really supportive. They help the students in every possible way they can. They aren't very strict nor very lenient.
Students come from different part of the nation and yhe college provides them support for their cultural events.

Dislikes

Timings of the evening college are not very impressive for some people.
Construction is going on in college from last 1 year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are held every four or five months. There is a semester system. I choosed BCom as I wanted to gain experience in the accounts and finance field. Area of improvement should be inclusion of more practical subjects rather than theory.

Life as a SBSEC student

Likes

I liked the infrastructure everything is well managed and classes are also well managed and distributed
The administration of college is too good they help you with all your queries

Dislikes

The strict attendence criteria is not likable for me you have to maintain a certain level of attendence percentage to sit in your semester exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bcom program because I am from commerce background. It was the most suitable course for me in my opinion because I had interest in the finance related subjects like Accounting, Business Management etc. The practical knowledge about the real financial world influenced me to chose bcom. The teaching methods of teachers are already good they are giving their hindered percent in the practical knowledge. The difficulty level of bcom program is not that difficult it's bit easy you can pursue any other course like CA,CS,CMA and any other course along with it.

Best college for quality education.

Likes

Best campus as it has the best campus in the whole university of delhi.
Well maintained bathrooms and in every corner of college safe drinking water coolers are installed.

Dislikes

Nothing i had to complain as it is the educational institution
But the thing i don't like is the elections not only of my college but of whole UNIVERSITY OF DELHI

Should I go for B.Com (P) from Motilal Nehru College or Shaheed Bhagat Singh (E) College?

Motilal Nehru is a morning college whereas Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) has both morning and evening colleges.

At first, you will have to decide your preference for the timings. One of my friends graduated from Motilal Nehru College (Day) and has had flatmates studying in evening colleges. According to him their routines were completely different. So, the choice completely depends on you and which time of the day you are comfortable with.

Motilal Nehru has a competent faculty, with spacious new buildings, library and good placements. They also have active societies such as Enactus, DebSoc, Archon Leadership Cell and others.

Another benefit of being in Motilal is that it is located in the South Campus and is always crowded. This crowd attracts the building of proper hangout places. Its Satya Niketan market offers good places to eat and good coaching centers.

On the other hand SBSC (E) would only give you the benefit because of its past reputation, good sports infrastructure and its proximity to Select City Walk.

Therefore make an informed decision as this will be motivated towards the shaping of your career.
