Remarks

I did apply online on the university website. It does not conduct any entrance exams. You have to pass out B.SC with good marks to an eligible minimum is 70%.then college will make a merit list. The college building is structured well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose it because it is not so far from my home. here teachers are very Talented, students are very thankful to the teachers of the mathematics department. You have to pass out b.sc with good marks. Here exam is moderately difficult.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I get a scholarship is Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship (svmcm). The college annual fee is 15000. anyone from a middle family can afford this college. There is no assurance that you will get a job definitely

Campus Life

The campus is very huge. it is very enjoyable with my friends. The annual festival is held in there there are volleyball matches,cricket matches, race, tennis, basketball match everything. there is a student union so the student can express his problem to the student union and they take steps. The library has 2000 books.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
