MAKAUT is an educational institution with excellence that endeavours various degrees in Engineering from the UG level. Along with it, it also offers a diploma program. M.Tech is the flagship program of the university at the PG level. Students run for this program for getting attracted by its different specialisations.

Course Curriculum Overview

The subjects deal with Geomecganics and its foundation, tunnels, geotechnical earthquake engineering and soil dynamics, waste disposal facilities etc. It is the extended study of soil mechanics. Geotechnical engineering examines the earth's soil structure and its mine area to industrialize them in a good way.

Class Size: 18Course Fees: INR 36600 per year

Placement Experience

M.Tech program's salary rose up to Rs 1.58 lacs. Top MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Amazon, Cocacola etc coordinate with the university for its recruitment process. The institute emphasises the personal grooming of the candidates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for the course is Rs 1,58,000. The first semester fee is charged as Rs 42,600 with admission fees and other fees. 2nd, 3rd and 4th semesters charge Rs 36,600 as tuition fees and Rs 2,000 for other expenses fees respectively.

Scholarship schemes from the central government are seen here. Among these minority and SC/ST students get special chance. UGC granted schemes like free education for sports, Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child, NETJRF scholarship etc fulfil the financial assistance in technical education. Besides, this institute offers Pragati and Saksham Scholarships.

M.Tech in IIT KGP - What you need to know.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is quite good. Only need the guidance which course is good of us. Syllabus is quite lengthy. I think theoretical knowledge is good but need of some practical knowledge is required. Laboratory work should be divided so that each students experience the best.

At the end of 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. 1000 of company visit campus every year in January and December month. Placement takes place in two form one in December and other in January. Like IBM, puma, ICC bank, Deloitte, ABG, Lenovo, etc. highest package is about 2.68 crore per annum, average 15lpa According to different profiles. Students should have more than 8.5 cgpa for good placements. I will join a good company after completing the degree.
