I applied for Bcom prog from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College Of Commerce, and the admission process was smooth one of my documents was not clear so I got a call from the college and provide them with a clear document.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bcom prog because I want to do an MBA. The faculty here is very friendly and understanding, I never felt like I can't share something with them. The faculty is well qualified some are Ph.D. and almost all have experience of at least 10 years in the same profession
Internships Opportunities
Ferns and petals, Deloit, EV are some companies in which students are interested and they provide around 10k per month. Projects and tasks given tp one during the internship are mostly related to communication and public relations
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester in 3rd year, a lot of companies like Deloit came every year the placement rate is also very good. The higest package goes upto 10-12 lakhs and the average package goes upto 5-6 lakhs. Almost 90% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees compared to other colleges are a bit high because it's off-campus and I don't feel like it's too high because the college provides you with good facilities. I'm still in my second year so I don't know much about the campus placements and striped.
Campus Life
The annual fest of our college is one of the most liked fests in DU because there are a lot of active participants and societies to show there talent. The library is also one of well-known and appreciated in DU. The classrooms are well ventilated and with good classroom size. The campus sports teams are very active and again we got the perfect cricket ground. The societies which are run by students are Ivogue The fashion society, Folking Desi the bhangra society, Misba the western dance society.
