Remarks
I was selected on the basis of my 12th standard result. I secured admission to Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur College in the first cut-off list and later on moved to SGGSCC after the announcement of the second list. I was admitted under the Sikh Minority quota. The orientation session was organized by the college post-admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had a keen interest in Accounting and Finance and hence chose to be in B.Com Honours. There are approximately 40+ students in a class managed by one faculty member per subject. The faculty is qualified well and there is a great ambiance. Term exams were held timely.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies offer internships depending upon the profile availability in their organization. Projects and outcomes depend on the position of internship offered. This is all that I have to write.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are held at the beginning of the final year of students. Companies like FIS, Deloitte, Ernst, and Young, etc. offer placement offers at the college level. The profile offered is Audit Associate. Most students secure a placement through campus. I would like to gain a job at the Big Four and then, later on, pursue my MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Everything was fine during the tenure of my college life. It was an amazing experience. The college provides scholarships post with the declaration of results. Financial assistance is provided to the weaker sections of students.
Campus Life
The annual fest name is Eminence and it is held in the months of February-March respectively. Books and journals are available in requisite amounts in the library. The classrooms are well managed and sanitized. Sports and extracurricular activities are handled quite frequently.
