Remarks

The admission process was quite smooth and the documents got approved within a few hours. The student and teacher community was readily available in case of any problem/doubts arising during the admission. An entire committee was set up for the same with several numbers and all of them were available. This was the first college I opted for because of the crowd, infrastructure, and education and later on shifted my course in upcoming cut-offs as the process was entirely based on the cut-off released by Delhi University which is released on the basis of class 12th board marks. Our college also provides ECA admissions for various activities like bhangra etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The semester exams were held as per the Delhi University guidelines. Though the platform shifted to obe and there was a lot of anxiety regarding servers not working or technical errors but teachers were readily available and technical department too to help the students for the same, therefore, the process was smooth. Apart from the semester exams, there are quizzes, vivas, revision tests, and assignments based on which we are marked and these marks are clubbed with semester marks for final results. The question paper made is set up with reference to the current pattern and is a case study based therefore, it helps us to understand the concept better and also helps us in the final exam as we've already had a mock. It also gives us practice for theory exams as there is a lot to write so having tests in between with time limits gives experience for time management.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The GGS is not only a hub of students with internships but also of great entrepreneurs who are embarking on their journey of a start-up world and the faculty not only encourages but also helps. The placement cell has also brought internship opportunities for students from EY, CerebroKids, Aditya Birla, Uneako, DU Express, etc. Training sessions are also conducted by the placement cell so the students can frame their path under the guidance and not get stuck.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college attracts big companies for the placements and also for the internships so that students don't miss the opportunities. The students of GGS have bagged placements and internships at well-known companies like EY, KPMG, Nestle, etc. The training sessions on career assistance are also provided by the placement cell so that students can make a path for themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very affordable and this goes for the entire Delhi university and therefore, most of us are able to afford it. Apart from this considering the situation of the pandemic, the college societies have taken various steps to help the general public too. The administration has also given a waiver for the students who lost their mother/father. Apart from that our college continuously provides internship opportunities, paid ones too and the placements of the college are quite impressive too.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is a hub of societies. You enter the campus (provided that there is no covid) and you can see a bunch of enthusiastic students performing a wide range of activities. Be it academic, cultural, or social, the college has covered all the societies and all of them perform actively throughout the year having fests and competitions. The students learn to work and then manage society too. To name few of them :- Misba, Manchtantra, Vismaad, EDC, Enactus, 180DC,T raining and placement, WDC and many more. The society-wise fests are also held in the fest season of Jan-March. The classes are well centralized and make the learning smooth and comfortable. The college also has a wide range of books available in the library catering to the needs of all the courses. It is a double-storeyed library where books of a wide range of interests can be found.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
