Remarks

Since it's just the beginning, i would say that my experience so far has been overwhelming great understanding teachers, helpful students, good food, green and clean campus, great location, the crowd is awesome and the seniors are all to sweet a photocopy and bookshop and even a ncc training area everyday is anew learning experience and that it,s not i who accepted the college its the college who accepted me with welcoming arms and made me comfortable the first day there.

Entrance Preview

CBSE boards -83.75%, i opted for this particular college as the economics faculty is good so is the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

10000 for my course for a year and others are much below than 8000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided but i don't know much about them.

Campus Life

4.5

Girls are more in number than boys a lot of workshops seminars and events providing a good academic and co curricular balance it helps in developing the overall personality of the students which in turn helps them prepare for various hardships and jobs the ratio is almost 2:1 girls:boys we have whole college freshers party (unofficial i.e off campus) then we have departments freshers (unofficial) and then we have department freshers party(official in the huge college auditorium) the college is completely neutral towards different gender caste religion the college admits student solely based on merit. however there is some reservation for the backward classes the college does not come under dusu election and therefore hols its own elections comprising a position for president' vice president, joint secretary.

Hostel Facilities

4

We have no hostel but a big canteen is present with a seating capacity of 30 people inside and 20 people outside the canteen staff is very polite the food is good and the canteen is clean and hygienic the food is cheap and feasible for all students.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are polite and there is no ragging or bullying the seniors help us with notes and make us understand different concepts the help is choose different 'general elective' subjects and tell us various career options.

Exam Structure

It was chilled out, we just have mid terms and finals with enough preparation leave.

Faculty

5

Faculty is highly qualified (many Ph.Ds)teach put their heart in makes us understand and especially those who did not have commerce background.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and may be seen as average in aspect of my college . I selected my course as I saw myself holding potential in the field of language , English was my strong interest. The curriculum prepares a basic and needed knowledge for everyone accordingly and yes , it may be seen as an important aspect in higher education, experiences from professors and teachers is shared by live demonstrations and examples in order to achieve a good understanding. The improvement in the curriculum may be that of a much regular based classes as there is a frequent cut in classes and sometimes some teachers may slack during the day cancelling classes and stuff . The frequency of exams and timings are arranged and not much complicated related to my course and difficulty may be considered moderate .
