Remarks

I chose MSI because of my strong academics. It would lead me to a career that is both quantitative in nature and involved significant interaction with people. It would help me gain exposure and improve my network and communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing B.com Honors. I chose this course because I've always been interested in management and accounting. The faculty-student ratio was 1:50. Teachers are qualified and their teaching skills are amazing. Exams always get postponed through some or other reasons and reaching the centres for examination is cumbersome.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 84800 per year

Placement Experience

From the fifth Semester, students become eligible for campus placements. This year during the pandemic no good companies are visiting for placements and the CTC is not more than 2.5 LPA. Less than 50% of the students are getting placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is not affordable for all. Our college doesn't have any air conditioning unlike other colleges of IP University and it still charges 84,800 per annum. Also, during this pandemic also we had to pay the full amount even though we are not using their infrastructure and studying from home with our own laptops and internet facilities.

Campus Life

Genesis and avnesis are the two fests conducted during winters in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. Not all books are available in the library regarding the course. There are no air conditioners in classrooms it is difficult to attend classes during summers. Not much sports and extracurricular activities happen on Campus. A lot of societies are run by the students of MSI.

Overall College life experience.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

This college is not good enough for upgrading skill and knowledge.

Placement Experience:

SSNC have a placement cell which provides internship details and also shat company hiring details. 3rd and 4th semester students are eligible for internship Highest average package is approx 12 LPA and average price is approx 5LPA and actually I don't know which company give the highest and to whom.

Students get placements in the last semester before the last exams as per my knowledge the average package is 4 to 5 lpa and highest package was 15lpa . Not all the students get placed from the college only the one's with good skills and some experience about the work are chosen.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review about Maharaja Surajmal institute

The basic eligibility includes a 12th pass candidate with a minimum percentage of 65%. The selection is done on the basis of an entrance test called IPUCET which is held every year for all courses in IP University (GGSIPU). This exam includes aptitude questions like quantitative aptitude, management aptitude, GK, verbal ability, etc. At my entrance time , total students appeared were approximately 25000 while only the top 1200 rankers being selected for Maharaja Surajmal institute. There is reservation for delhi domicile candidates in this university as similar to Delhi University.
