Remarks
For more opportunities in B. Sc level research, in academics. Even it's good infrastructure, excellent faculties, supportive inn nature. The thing which actually made me select microbiology as my subject is the "chapter- Microbes in Human Welfare" in class 12th biology. This was the chapter in which I had full confidence. Initially this was the reason behind why I chose Microbiology as my subject for B. Sc. degree. But this is not enough. The thing which makes me select this college as my part of academics is that here they organises alot of seminars, quizzes, webinars and even feast who's boost up our knowledge not only in our own particular subject but even several different disciplines of science, arts and even in commerce. In these types of seminars we get a large opportunities to interact with large number of intellectual individuas, professors, young research scientist and even students of different colleges. One more thing I would like to mention about its achievement in different fields such as particularly this year our college secured 7th rank in NIRF ranking. This makes me feel proud about my college legacy being maintained year after year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Now to say about course curriculum it's just excellent. It includes all such vital topics which would further help in our future carry on extra studies. One thing I would like to mention that our college secured anonymous tag in the year 2006. So it has its own right to have particular respective curriculum structure and even it can set up its own question papers for semester exams. If I say about academics it's comparatively much much better than other colleges. We get huge opportunities in our theory as well as in practical classes to interact with our faculty members about various new discoveries in respective topics. The best thing about our college is our faculty members. We would rarely get such supportive faculty members team in any other colleges. They help us in all such ways they can.
Placement Experience
Basically our college is neither an engineering or medical colleges, so about placements if I mention it actually prepares us for our further academics competition at national as well as at international levels.
College Events
Now about campus life, we would rarely get such a friendly campus in any colleges. It not helps input development in studies or academics but also in several co curricular activities such as oral presentation or even poster presentation on new research topics. Now it's time to mention about one of the biggest feast which our college organises for about four days during the month of January i. e., XAVOTSAV. It's one of the biggest college feast in Kolkata where from different parts of India several talented individuals or groups are invited to perform and especially for our refreshment. As I am a hosteller so I would like to mention about one our biggest hostel feast i. e., COFRADIA where we all rejoice and have lots of fun and sports events.
