Entrance Preview

I joined the college after passing class XI. Th cut off was 94%. In 2008 when i joined this college, it was (and is still) 2nd best commerce college in the country. This inspired me to undertake the course .Also, the autonomous status which allows it to have own pattern of exams is an influencing factor.

Internships Opportunities

As i was undergoing CA, i did not opt for the internship. But, the companies were good and were offering stipend in the range of Rs 5000 to 10000 per month.

Placement Experience

The Placement is good. Companies like Google, EY, etc. come for placement. The average placement is Rs 5 lacs p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

I received a scholarship from ministry of HRD for class XII marks.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is strong and has some of the big shots such as cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Course Curriculum Overview:

Well among the curriculum of Bcom my most favourite is the management and Economics part. Cause I really love them and the teachers of that subject are really good . The improvement that I would want is the professors to come to the classes and teach us and finish the syllabus on time.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.

If you want a multi faceted academic college experience, Xavier's is the one.

I also got into Sri Shikshayatan College before I got the Xavier's confirmation, and ultimately chose Xavier's.
