Remarks

First of all, the most important thing that drove me towards sri guru gobind singh college of commerce is that it is affiliated to Delhi university which is one of the most prestigious university in India. Then comes the faculty and infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is basically traditional only. I mean traditional books were used rather than computer technology. However some basic things like tally were taught to us. Faculty is really good, there are teachers like avneet kaur and neha goyal who always motivate us and make us aware about other things that could be useful in life.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are pretty decent but they aren?t comparable to colleges of north campus. I mean the colleges there are from 50?s or 60?s, and have a great alumni, hence they have better placements. My college being started in 1984 is in growing stage.

College Events

Campus life is really cool. Although I live in a pg and I need to travel for approximately 1 hour combined each day to attend the college. But that is fun in itself. Then there are different types of clubs. I am part of enactus and also vice captain of college basketball team.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester.
