Remarks

I opted this college because it fall under top college for arts. Most important thing about any college is faculty.Here faculties are great,helpful and friendly.like u don't have to hesitate to share anything with them. They will help u 24*7. campus environment is great. Seniors are very supportive. they will treat u like younger sisters. we have superb menu in canteen. Like in few words u should definitely not hesitate to choose kamala nehru.

Course curriculum is good it covers all the important topics of your course. the teachers will help u to understand the syllabus as well as they will give u lots of reading material. their teaching methods are great. They will make sure that u understood each and every topic of your syllabus nothing should be left out. They will provide both hard copy and soft copy of reading. Which will help you to cover your syllabus.

Course Fees: INR 9700 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and Job opportunities are quite good if u have personality and speaking skills.Lots of companies come to take interview for internship and placement.U can give interview even in your first year. They offer great perks.

Campus life us quite great because there are lots of places near campus that u can explore with your gangs in free period. The different events, competition will refresh u from the stress of study, assignment and exams.

Our campus infrastructure is quite nice. we have library divided in two floors. computers are placed in library in certain places so that student and easily find location of books they are searching for. environment of library give best studying environment. sports facilities is also great.we have basketball Court, football court, cricket ground. Labs are also well maintained.And it will be very unfair that we don't mention about canteen when we are talking about kamala nehru. you will find indoor as well as outdoor canteens. both veg and non veg food available. And they are just delicious. If we talk about network then your data speed will be lil slow in campus but wifi work fine.

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
