Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics relevent to the field. one of the aspects that infulenced my decision to choose this course was the inclusion of practical subjects that align with current industry requirements. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for real world challenges.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities provided by our college are extensive and cover a wide range of industries. Students are assigned impactful projectssuch as developing live websites, analysing market trends and working on ai driven models.
Fees and Financial Aid
So per semester fee was around 15k which include everything like tuition fee for st however i came through pmsss scholarship which covers my fees and hostels( if any). The pmsss scholarship is for students of j&k and ladakh in which the the max family income should be upto 8lakh per year.
Campus Life
I love it here everyone is so nice. The fests of du is must. Its so fun in the fest season. The library is pretty big you can find all the books for sure. All kinds of sports are inclued especially basketball. There are many groups on whatsapp which helps freshers.
Admission
I applied for ipcw du however i liked knc more for how it is well known for its geography hons course. Kamala Nehru College is listed in top 5 college for geography. I was not rejected from any college though. The admission process is simple . Just give cuet exam after 12th and select the colleges you prefer and they'll allot you the college.
Faculty
Not sure about the ratio of faculty to student ratio. However everyone is so nice and helpful. They would help you out anytime. As i study geography the geogra Department staff and teachers are very nice and help you out and would clear every doubt. There are one exam per semester. The papers are moderate not very difficult. Mostly all students clear the exams.
Night Life
Around the campus at night is not very safe for women. However there are plenty of places to hangout like safdarjung, hauz khas, deer park. Around the campus many cafeterias are available too. For women its not very safe as the locality of college is pretty shady.
