Remarks

It’s a girls college and I prefer it is more safe then a coed college It has a good faculty of history department I know this because I am pursuing my BA with history It is in close vicinity from my house But the furniture’s are not good,sometimes we have to rush to other classes for bringing chairs In Summer it becomes very hard to study because there is no Ac in the classroom And sometimes students feel exhausted Sometime the sanitary pad machines in the washroom does not use to work properly it is sometimes broken or out of pads

Our syallabus was always compeleted on time.even in lockdown we had regular online classes.Yess history department faculty is very good here We have a trip to national museum With our teachers for more historical information Teachers are very good in history department specially

Placement Experience

Yes there are various events organised for placement but I haven’t participated in that And did not have a good knowledge about it Since I am in1st year so Further on I’ll also try my luck But I usually use to see a lot of crowd for placements in our college

College Events

It’s very good But participation is less as compared to number of frequent events But students enjoy a lot with full enthusiasm and zest Different food stalls during events are the best part Which I love a lot

Infrastructure according to me is okiee not that much good and not that much worst it’s normal Sports facilities are great here Wifi is there but students do not have passwords For orperating them Library is very good with enough Space

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
