College review

Overall I can say that my college is quite good if compared with other in university.

No, there are no industrial visits organised by the college. And education provided is not like which directly provides us great knowledge that a company will select us. We must develop some extra skills or should do any other course to secure a job.

Their is a proper internship fair every year in the college which is organised by the placement cell of our college. Lots of companies visit to our campus for placement as well as for internship. But for my course there are not much placement opportunities after graduation.

Events are organised throughout the year in the college. There are lots of cells and socities in our college. These socities conduct 1 event in every session. And there are about 20 active cells or socities in my college. And there is annual fest of college also which is conducted in the month of feb or march.

The fees of the college is very reasonable. As my college is goverment college and in India government institutions provides education at subsidized rate. The payment is accepted by the college through digital transfer. I didn't notice that much about the fee breakdown.

No, there is no any opportunity of scholarship which I have applied for in the college. As far I know there is rarely.

Campus life is quite good. Gender ratio in the college is equal number of girls may be more than number of boys. College provides lots of exposure to students. It varies upon you whether you want to take part in any activities or not. Intercollege competition keeps on happening of debates, dancing, singing and sports competitions.

No, I have not opted for hostel. In our college there is only girls hostel. As there are some of my friends in the hostel so they say that food is not that better in quality.The rooms are in sharing of 2 or 3 students.

The network with the alumni is not very strong. Like if you interact anyone personally then only you get in touch with the senior students otherwise college don't introduce us with the seniors.

Admission is given on the basis of cut offs released by the university. I got admission through same. There are about 2-3 days given to students after the release of every cut off to get admission. Firstly we need to fill the form of the university. And then university will start releasing cut offs.

Number of lectures in the college is according to the number of subjects. The lecturers in the college are well qualified. Most of them have complete knowledge of their subjects. Teaching skills vary from person to person. Yes most of the lectures have completed their PHD.
