- College has best cleanliness ! Like whenever you go to any washroom they are super clean!
- The infrastructure is also top notch (comparing with other DU Colleges) specially of Geography Department
Dislikes
- Attendance policy! I mean it just takes a heavy toll on your daily life.
- Strictness of this college! Like guards won’t allow you to enter if you forget to bring Id Card!
- Admin behaviour! Whenever you go to admin block! Their behaviour is not upto the mark!
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good! Like for someone who is preparing for UPSC! The syllabus of geography optional and geography Hons in this college is more or less similar so that gives a edge to any student who is preparing for upsc!
Internships Opportunities
There is Principal Internship Scheme in the college, which according to students who have previously enrolled in this scheme is very good! So I am also applying in this internship to gain real hand experience!
Placement Experience
See in my course, students are not that much focused on placement! They are more focused on things like upsc, govt jobs, academics, professors, further MBA! So I do not know about the placement culture! But for someone who wants placement in GIS field there is a placement cell for geography department as well!
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in first year for this course was around 17k and then in second year it went to 20.5k! So yes fees is a little increasing! But I can say this for sure that the facilities and infrastructure you get in this course in this college is just awesome! Like it has got everything for geography Hons student!
Campus Life
See you'll have multiple societies in this college from NSS to CDF, Harithkram, Vittamantra, Devbhumi, finance societies and a lot more! So there is good exposure to societies as well! And there is playground but it is currently under construction and indoor sports complex is also being built!
Admission
I applied to Kirorimal college for my course! But cut off of KMC was too high! So I couldn't get a seat in that college! KMC is a well known college and is also in north campus so that's the main reason why I applied for it as well! But my second preference for this course was this college only! And I am pretty much satisfied with this
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is fine! Like faculty is very attentive. They never ignores the doubt of any student! That thing makes this college one of the best! Personally I like Mr Rahul Kumar from Department of Geography a lot! You can see the effort he puts to deliver the best classes by visualising each and every small concept!
Night Life
See nightlife is als very good! You can hang out with friends at authority (a famous for Sbsc students hangout). There is a variety of food! But I can say this that there is less cleanliness outside the college campus!
