Remarks

College managements sucks. They just want money. They don't support the soc which they think are not accrding to there culture like misba, manchtantra, and these are the two soc which bag the most wards for our college.

Entrance Preview

My result was 95.2% in four subjects in 12 th and in order to get admission in Bcom Hons in DU in a decent college. It wasnt enough, so I went on for SGTB Khalsa college and got enrolled there with the help of sikh quota, where my sister was already studying. But I didn't want to be in this college, so when second cut off came in I chose this college upon which many people argued about leavindg non campus area. About that decision I feel right to take it but sometimes I wonder what my life would have been.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course is the boring course on earth. I want to get out of it now only. Means there is no true knowledge, no practicality. So you read 10 years n give the exams n pass with good no. Net gain value is what you learn about life.

Internships Opportunities

Mine was a virtual internship. No stipend. It was just fine. Got a called from the lady and I would get the work done over the internet. It was a research internship.

Placement Experience

3

The four big companies, KPMG, EY etc, come in our college looking for people for the audit job. Highest package offered till now is 4lacs. I don't know the exact no. Beacuse the year has not ended yet. And till now, I am not sure, 40 students got selected.

College Events

4

Ours college is out of campus area, one of the most drawback of it. So there is not much celebdation. One in a while there is a langar in our college on gurpurab. But even gurupurab is not celebrated properly. Only events in our college our fest, freshers, farewells, and ya the cricket tournaments of the teams to whom our college has rented out it ground.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ours college is very expensive in comparision to other colleges in DU. The fee is almost double and I don't know what extra facilities they provide. Our college authorities are just sick minded, selfish, greedy people. They can let people in on approach but can't let girls wear what they want beacuse its a sikh college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ya scholarships are provided to the people hwo need it and deserve it. I don't know much about it. Because I am not eligible for it.

Campus Life

3.5

Extracurricular activities ae the essense of our college. I mean college socities are one way you can have fun. The dancing society, misba, a winner at all competition. The dram soc is also the best. But I am not a part of any soc. There si no hostel, so I live in a pg and the experience is awesome. As far campus life is concerned, the onky thing that help you survuve this boring college life is friends. And I have got some great friends to get me through this.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The earlier canteen was a 5 on scale of ten. I mean no hygiene. Things you order are not available. But since when the new canteen was made, I can easily rate it 8 even after eating only two time there. The food taste good, prices are also reasonable and the most important thing the cleanliness.

Alumni/Alumna

Actually ours group was the type of group which was so self involved that we didn't even interact with seniors. Strange but true and now we are seniors. The only senior I met is my pg mate and she is really very nice.

Exam Structure

Exams are chilled out. Read 10 years thorouhly and you can score more than 50 out of 75 easily. Practical are scheduled before exams amd there are also very easy.
