Remarks

It's a really good college. I personally never regret my decision. It's a women's college so you are free to wear anything. Professors are really helpful. Students are really supportive they will always encourage fellow students on stage.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is up to date with ongoing researches. Our college's lab is really good. We are equipped with all the machinery we need. You can't tell it's a govt college. Professors are also really hard working, they put their souls into teaching us. The schedule is a bit busy but it's applied science college so it has to be.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is not high as you can't really get a job just by having bachelors. In the infield of science, you need to have higher qualifications. For internships, you can always get help from teachers and seniors. Teachers are ways ready to recommend you. You can easily get jobs after getting such quality education. There is a placement cell for certain departments like management, CS, electronics, and instrumentation.

College Events

4.5

Every department has its own fest, societies organize their fest, there are always some sort of competitions going on, various seminars, talk by renowned people, annual day, college fest and the list goes on.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, it's less than school fees My course fees are 25000 per year. Most courses are for 15000 per year. Some like management, Computer science, and biomedical are more expensive than others. You can easily get a scholarship in this amount too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has many scholarship programs for students who belong to low-income families and students scoring high marks. For getting a scholarship under the low-income group you must prove your parent's total income and you must have scored a minimum of 60% and your attendance must be 67% above.

Campus Life

4.5

Our college provides admission based on sports quota too. We have a volleyball team, kho kho team, athletics. There is a huge playground, a badminton court. Trainers are available. We have a chess coach too. There is also dance society, fashion society, dramatics, singing, art, traveling, eco-club and many more you can also you can make many more clubs. We have enactus also which is currently working on uplifting transgenders.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are not that huge. It's 2 seaters with coolers. There are washing machines. The food is nutritious although not tasty. Medical facilities are available. It's within the college premises. The security is quite strong. I live in PG which charges the most, the hostel is comparatively cheaper and flats based on sharing is the even cheaper and best option but you have to manage everything on your own.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni come to visit us and they are really interactive and helpful. Most of them. are doing well in careers so they guide us. We have an alumni network on linkin. They will answer whatever you ask, everyone is really sweet. They will happily tell you about their experience and yes no ragging.

Admission

I got admission through cut-offs released by Delhi University. I was always interested in the medical field and even tried NEET but could not get govt medical college so decided to choose biomedical science as u found the syllabus really interesting. The admission procedure was really organized.

Faculty

4.5

Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and are very experienced. They not only teach us what's on the syllabus but also focus on preparing our soft skills so we can survive the world outside. You will never think they are professors they will take care of you like school teachers we always call them teachers.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
