Remarks

The college is not without its fault. It needs amends in various sectors such as job placements and improvement in exam structure outside university curriculum. But besides that the college offers great academic excellence for students and is a good choice for students looking to gather knowledge from a quality institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Procedure of admission should be more transparent and counseling should also be done online as possible. As per exam structure newly introduced semester structure is a great initiative to ensure quality of education.

Placement Experience

2

Placements and job opportunities is one sector that needs to improve. College doesn't offer any placement drives or job campusing on site. Students have to look for job themselves after completion of course. Job based internship is not provided but curriculum based internship is provided on campus. Thus no stipend is offered of the internship.

College Events

3.5

Alaap (Freshers Program)- To introduce the newly admitted students to the college environment in a fun way. Dhun (Annual College Fest)- Annual program involving various other colleges of the city and a great platform to showcase talent from all around the institutions. Science and Academic Fests- Various science fests and academic presentations on various trending topics are organised by various faculty from other institutions to engage students into the academics other than the curriculum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Quite feasible since it is a government institution. Monthly tuition fees is about Rs 500 for UG and Rs 800 for PG courses. Annual fees including other fees such as library fee, examination fees, laboratory fees etc doesn't exceed Rs 4000 in any courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't offer scholarship of its own. Rather various government offered scholarships are encouraged to be taken by the college. Various scholarships like Kanyashree are taken by students to their convenience.

Campus Life

3.5

Various extracurricular activities such as annual sports event is organised well by the college. The college boasts a well maintained playground which encourages students to actively engage in sports throughout the year. Laboratory activities are also well encouraged by the college to engage students in scientific activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association has been recently formed and is being run by efficient alumni who are actively doing good work in facilitating the welfare of the college. They are also looking after the reunion events if the college and connecting all old and new students and helping every students build a amicable relationship among all.

Admission

1)Online form fillup and application submit 2) Publication of merit list based on 12th marks 3) Call up of students based on merit list 4) Counselling of attendee students 5) Enlisting of students to the course based on counseling till available seats are filled up 6) Verification of student documents 7) Admission to said course by submission of fees

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
