Remarks
My college has a great infrastructure, probably one of the best in Delhi University. Maharaja Agrasen has the biggest auditorium in the whole DU. The cut offs are not that high. The vibes are very positive.
Course Curriculum Overview
My college has always been a great college in terms of its pattern for examination. Exam structure is very flexible and focuses more on learning. They follow a pattern of minimum 5 subjects, where one subject would be of personal choice, till 4th semester.
Placement Experience
Yes, my college do have its own placement cell and somewhere they do provide good internships, but I have not took that opportunity yet. The training and placement cell of our college provides such opportunities. I personally feel they have to create more opportunities for the students.
College Events
There are many big events being celebrated in our college like - Spic Macay (a event where our college invites some of the talented and intellectual giants from all over the India), Street play event - Aaina, stage plays event - Drishyanatar.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's very feasible as I have already mentioned above it's fully Delhi Government funded. I am doing Journalism and the fees of my course is just 15000 approx. Along with annual fees, the college charges it's exam fees every semester , which never exceeds more than 1500 or 1700.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not familiar with such facilities but it's fees is not that high, so a student never requires a loan. Although there are many kids who cannot afford the living and lifestyle of Delhi University but for that they don't have to take loan.
Campus Life
Labs are maintained amazingly, there are many Apple computers in our which a student can use anytime just by submitting their id cards and our college offers alot of sports equipment which is available to every student.
Alumni/Alumna
They are amazing, I love them, I know my seniors, most of them are working in many big companies like one of my senior is working. My alumni is best they even share notes with me.
Admission
Maharaja releases its cut off for journalism, so my no. Came up in 5 th cut off, so I went to the college the other day and filled my admission form, get approval from college administration, submitted my documents like adhar card, 10th and 12th certificate, migration and tc etc. Later, the gave me a fee certificate, which meant I got selected then I submitted my fees.
Faculty
Maharaja Agrasen College is not that good in terms of its faculty, because as you know it's a government college and the teachers are literally very unsupportive. They focuses more on protests rather than student's welfare.
