- Definitely the non cooperation of non teaching staff as to get simplest of things done it take ages to do them.
Course Curriculum Overview
Journalism is my passion and that's the reason why I chose this course. Our college has produced a lot of journalists and many media houses also hosts their events at our college. Hence, the learning becomes even more easier and it's lovely that I am a part of this college and pursuing my favourite course under them.
Internships Opportunities
Republic Media group or more popularly known as the R-Bharat group is the one which approached our college to send few interns. In all 30 students were shortlisted and I consider myself lucky that I was one of those.
Placement Experience
HT Media, Aaj Tak, Republic Group and likewise numerous media houses have made their tie-ups with our college. So, those are the big media houses where many students of course college are working as a journalist.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well Maharaja Agrasen College which is one of the most sought after college of Delhi is also a top college as fees is more than affordable. Just 20k a year means nothing especially if the college is under DU.
Campus Life
There is no technical fest but yes we do have a humongous annual fest called Yuvaan. The campus is lit with lights and ballons. Students are in charge as there is a committee that does this event. Our campus is quite big as in DU most campuses are small but not ours.
Admission
I applied through CUET as that's the way out for DU and I wanted ST Stephen's but it is a top college and probably the 3rd best college of DU. However at MAC cutoffs are reasonable and plus they are the ones who offers this course, so I joined MAC.
Faculty
At MAC number of faculties only for our course is more than 30. So, if I divide that it will be 10 per year and hence number of students are 60 around, so ratio becomes 1:6. I won't name the one which i disliked but there is someone whom I like really admire and that's Niyati Madaan mam. She took the classes to next level for sure.
Night Life
Rajouri Garden as i said is one of the best areas of Delhi and metro station too is nearby. We have two malle and cinema houses like the Wave Cinemas. We also have bowling alley and game arcade near us.
