Likes

The management of the college is better than even some of the elite DU colleges.
Certainty one of the best campuses as we have areas more than most DU colleges and also ground for playing sports.
High school dream of going to an expansive college ended here as our college is that brilliant.

Dislikes

Unlike most DU colleges which has 5 day classes, we have classes for 6 days a week.

Course Curriculum Overview

Political Science is felt has become quite popular and to study the science and art on how to become a good orator and also a good drafter at the same time is taught in our course. I love political anylysis and things go for making an election successful. Catching the pulse and the narratives that are floated, our course taught us all and hence i am happy to do the course that i did.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Headlines Today group used to hire 20 students during summer breaks ane fortunately during my 2nd year in 2023, i got that opportunity to intern with them. I wss overwhlemed as learned a lot and also earned around 20k as stipend for 6 weeks of internships.

Placement Experience

Its the news agencies and bigger media groups like CVC, Hindustan Times and Headlines Today group who were interested in hiring political science students. So, almost half of our class got campus placements and luckily i was one of those so i am happy to study here and have a job worth 40k a month directly from the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 22000 a year and MAC fees is little extra than sone of the DU colleges as our facilities are also somewhat extra then them. M1 and M2 are among teo scholarships as our tuition fees is 19100 and under M1 are the students of lower caste who gets 50% of in the tuotion fees and in M2, students based on merit are given scholarships of 30%.

Campus Life

Our campus js quite big and so is our main academic block. It is huge and also one of the biggest main blocks among DU colleges. We habe indoor sports room, two libraries and a seminar hall in the main block. Now coming to outdoor sports we have a proper playground and it is the one which is used while hosting our annual fest Yuvaan.

Admission

Same as CUET as all the colleges listed under DU has the same process. Its not that 12th percentage are ignored they too are calculated but ultimately the winner is CUET. Definitely MAC was not the first choice as it was the Hindu College but never mind MAC was good too.

Faculty

It is difficult to put that into words as our faculties are such that they bring smile on to students face as soon as they come into the class. So, to the fore of it all our faculties are little strict but no one take away the dact their acumen for teaching and hunger to make students top class is what differentiate them from the others.

Night Life

India Gate, Jantar Mantar, Purana Qilla, and Humayun's Tomb are all close to our campus. Roadside food is what students can afford and therefore all i will say is that in and around our college there are nearly 100 food vendors who sells juices to panipuri.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always had a keen interest in history, so I also wanted to pursue it in my graduation and I was able to do it. the curriculum covers vast amount of topics as we have 3 core papers per semester, which then increases to 4 in the 3rd year. there are papers covering indian history, European history and a particular country per semester- like,USA, china, japan, etc. an option for gender studies paper is also given in the 3rd year. i liked the course dynamic and therefore felt it would be interesting for me to study. for my future pursuits I feel the course covers a great deal of topics and helps me understand better as we also study a lot of historians and scholars apart from the just historical facts. But there are always improvements which I feel can be taken up, like including more practical and immersive teaching methods as just reading about history often make the course dull and uninteresting, though the professors keep providing us with valuable insights and material to study from. One has internals throughout the semester, which becomes even more hectic during the last month before the end sems as a lot of deadlines comes up, but if possible one should aim to do their internals as soon as one can and not delay as it helps prevent multiple deadlines before the exams. the difficulty levels vary from exams to exams in the internals; some assignments are more research-based based and professors expect you to do them on very academic level using research papers and official websites, unlike school, so it requires a good amount of reading and research.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I am interested to know about are culture, history and etc. As per my opinion, desirable ratio is 1:10 and minimum is 1:15 deficiency in case of ratio higher than 1:15. The proposed assessment is based on variation in ratio from 1:10 to 1:20 with maximum to proportional marks respectively. I suggest focusing on what is important and that is student achievement. It doesn't really matter who it is done as long as the students learn the material. I would suggest setting up course learning objectives and then assess how well the students learned the material. Exam had unclear or ambiguous questions or instructions. Exam required knowledge and skills that students did not have sufficient opportunity to practice. Students blame the instructor for their poor performance.

MY NEW COLLEGE FOR CHANGING MY LIFE

Course Curriculum Overview:

First thing was the why I take the BA because I want to be a teacher. Now the take about students ratio in Delhi University was very good for personal attention from the teachers. Teaching method is very good in Delhi University teachers teach very well as well as they give time to a specific student. Every term come in 6 months and was to too hard to clear.

I chose this college based on infrastructure as there wasn't much information available about this college online. Alsoz on the du official website, this college is mentioned as North campus which was a confusion for me at that time as I thought it was true but it wasn't as this is an off campus college of Delhi University. The admissions in the whole of University of Delhi is based on CUET scores. The preferences need to be filled by the students and then he/she is allotted the college according to the cit off and the scores. The subjects that need to be taken in cuet should be the same as in 12th boards. For humanities/arts courses the scores are out of 800. So, for arts courses the normal cit off for general category students are around 650, for obc students around 500 and for sc/st is much lower....Read More

I have given cuet and applied for 50+ college of Delhi University. Which included bachelor in mathematics, bachelors in mathematical sciences and bachelors in biodata and bachelors in botany and bachelors in zoology and many more. And based on the preference list of colleges I got into maharaja agarsen college of Delhi University in the course of bachelor of science ( mathematical science). I choose to proceed with this course as it included all the subject I needed to study and wanted in future. yes , i got rejection from dipsaar college . I applied for bpharma there. But due to my low score i couldn't secure a seat their. Their cutoff was pretty high and I couldn't reach their cut off . The cutoff wa totally based on the result of 12th class. For admission , firstly I filled an admission form online and submit all the official documents online such as birth certificate, addhar card, results of 12th and 10th class and also character certificate. And then I paid the fee online only. Also with the fees I didn't have to pay any additional protection fee. Then we had to visit the college for Orientation day . We were invited through a mail. In the orientation we were given the information about our course ,teachers and classes . Also we were given refreshments . And the addmission process was smooth not at all difficult. I got in the college with 70 percent on my cuet score. My personal experience of MAC

Earlier I got admission in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi but Then I got this one in second round of admission. And I choose this one because of it's fee structure that is less compared to others. And for the admission you have to appear in common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA then you have to apply for the admission through Delhi University's counselling process which is common seat allocation system CSAS then according to your score and college preference you'll get your admission....Read More
