So what is the latest program that you're offering in your institute?
As far as the latest program is concerned, I think we have not introduced anything new. We have engineering in 4 branches: computer science engineering, information technology, ECE and electrical and electronics. We are planning to introduce new branches like IoT, machine learning and all. We have submitted the proposal from the university. Hopefully next year we'll be able to add on the new branches.
How do you tend to build an industry connected with this program?
Yes, we have a special branding industry committee for this called IIIC, Institute Industry Interaction cell as well as Institute Innovation cell. These two special cells are dedicated for the interaction with the industry and for universities as well. We were able to get the MOU Foreign University just one or two months back. We are trying To make it larger by adding more than we used with universities as well as the industries.
What are your primary responsibilities as a HOD and how do you balance them with other aspects of your job?
To build a qualitative engineer which can help me society to solve their problems as well as nation building skills development.

Sir, as you know that NAAC is very very important for every college so what is the ranking of your institute?
We are getting A grade just two or three months before we got the approval again. So twice we got A grade and This time also we are having A grade.
Sir, what do you think should be the university top priority over the next 10 years?
Top priorities as far as I'm concerned is implementation of NAP of ( national education policy), I think the university is still not prepared to implement it right now. Although instructions are coming day by day from the Ministry of Education that you have to incorporate any NAP via adding new courses and all because we are actually affiliated to the university so that university has to take the step first so we are not in position to add on the new courses and all.
What do you think about your roles and responsibility going to the university and for the students?
To the students is to give them a Pathway to get success in their future in their world. As far as the university has an intermediator, what these students are demanding, the information should be conveyed to the university and we are doing it regularly by sending the letters to the universities whether it is related to the syllabus revision or related to introduction of new subjects or related to some other activities, maybe joint placement.
How do you manage the conflicts between a teacher and a student?
I think there is no word of conflict between a teacher and a student, because the relationship of a teacher and student is like parents and the child and I think between parents there is no question of conflicts, it's just only a question of guidance.
What do people want to know about your college that they may not know?
They should know about the placement. The most important thing nowadays is that everybody is looking for admission just for the placement feature, about the location, about the facilities. The most important is the education and teaching methodology adopted here. Other institutions, I don't want to give the names, but students are not even coming to the classes and all. But we have a dedicated system, you could say the attendance management system or varied teachers meeting management system. We send an hourly attendance system to the parents about the performance of the awards or whether any members are attending the class or not, whether he's good or involved in some other activities or not. So I think this is the unique feature we are having other than the institutions.
Sir, like you were saying before the last question that placements are very good in your college, So may I know the companies are coming, which kinds of companies are coming here for placements?
If I talk about the 2022 placements , You could say that 100% but 100% means only the students who opted for placements. OK, I wouldn't say that total number of students are let's say 660 and total are. It is not the case. Out of 660, some has opted for higher studies, some have gone for their own entrepreneurship, then the rest of the students who opted for only placement. I think we have 100% placement in this particular field. And the last year Package was 1.7 cr max. This year till now we have 80,00,000 packages, the highest and lowest is 3 LPA .
What are some of the biggest challenges you see both for higher education in general and for your college specifically?
The Higher Education General Basically we talk about the improvement in the syllabus. Basically we are bound with the university. We are not in position to add new subjects, new technology, which the industry is demanding. As far as the college is concerned, because our college is situated in a particular area where we cannot expand more. So we want to set up more labs and more features for the students. But with the limitation of the lands and the nearby areas, we are not in position to give certain things, although we have added two new buildings , we are even planning for a centralized library to complete 24/7 for the students' purpose. It is in process.
So what do you think, Sets an Institution apart from other colleges and universities? How do you communicate that unique value proposition to students and other stakeholders?
We have a dedicated channel of communication like nowadays students are more reliable on social media and all. So we have a very active social media and special cell to take care of that. Uh, I think not more than that. Around 12,000 Alumni. We are still in contact with them through WhatsApp and Facebook, Twitter, we are posting every information on it and if it's related to placement or any activity so that the students can take advantage of it.

So any suggestion you would like to give to current youth and aspiring students?
The current challenge to the students is like they are very much impatient. They need more patience, they need to adopt more indian culture Basically, students are moving towards the foreign culture, not the Indian culture. They are forgetting about these things. Loyalty is most important now most of them are just looking for money, package and all. They are not looking about the type of work they need to do. Although we have students who rejected money but applied for the work in which they love to do so, my suggestion to the students is that once you focus on your particular area, don't go for money. Money will definitely come to you. Just try to work in your own field. Never change it.
