Relation between watt and volt are proportional. Watt describes the rate of power flow, whereas volt describes the electric potential difference. Accordingly, watt is directly proportional to volt. That is, when the electric power watt increases, the electric potential volt also increases. Watt is a unit of power or radiant flux in electromagnetism. It is the flow of one ampere current with a voltage of one volt. In the International System of Units, it is a unit of 1 kg.m2.S-3 or, equivalently, or the work done at 1 Joule per second. It is symbolised by ‘W’. It quantifies the rate of energy transfer between two points.
