CBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus has been released for the academic year 2024-25. You can download the full syllabus from the official website, cbseacademic.nic.CBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus 2024-25 includes 3 major subjects (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) and is divided into 5 units. The most important units with maximum mark weightage are Chemical Substances and World of Living. Both of these units carry 25 marks each.
In CBSE, science is one of the major compulsory subjects in class 10. The maximum marks for the CBSE Class 10 Science exam are 100. The theory paper carries 80 marks and internal assessment is held for 20 marks. You have to score at least 33% of the total marks to pass the exam.
CBSE has maintained the 30% reduction in CBSE Class 10 Science Syllabus this year also. Periodic Classification of Elements, Sources of Energy, and Management of Natural Resources chapters have been completely removed from the syllabus.
