CBSE 10^th Registration Form for Private Candidates

Students who are appearing privately shall fill out and submit the application form on the official website of CBSE. The application fee is also required to be submitted online. Check the steps below to fill out the application form:

• Visit the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in.
• Click on the ‘Main Website’ option and scroll down to the ‘Latest@CBSE’ section.
• Click on the ‘Submission of Examination Form by Private Candidates for Class X Examinations 2025’ link.
• Fill in all the details in the application form.
• Pay the application fee.
• Submit and download the application form for future reference.

Note: Students must read the Guidelines for Private Candidates Registration for Class 10 released by CBSE before filling up the form. 

CBSE Class 10 LOC correction process will open in January 2026 (tentative). Schools must follow the steps below to edit the LOC form:

• Go to the CAMC portal for LOC correction

• Choose the ‘School Login’ option.
• Log in with your affiliation number, password, and captcha code.

• Select the candidate and open the LOC form to make the necessary changes.
• Submit your changes and pay Rs. 1000 as the correction fee. 

The corrections are verified by a Regional Officer before they are finally approved. 

CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Registration Form 2026

CBSE Board releases separate application forms for compartment exams. Compartment exams are conducted for those students who fail in less than three subjects in the CBSE class 10 board examination. The application form for regular candidates shall be submitted by the respective schools, whereas, private candidates can submit the CBSE compartment exam application form directly on the website. 

Registration Process for CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exam

Below is the step-by-step process to submit the CBSE 10^th compartment exam application form:

• Visit the official website of CBSE - cbse.gov.in
• Candidates who want to take supplementary exams are supposed to click on the "CBSE 10^th Compartment Application Form 2026" link under the "Recent Announcements" section. 
• CBSE compartment exam application form will appear on the screen.
• Candidates are supposed to fill in all the required details under the guidance of the school authority and submit the application form by completing the payment process.
• Save the submitted registration form for future reference.

CBSE Class 10 Registration 2026: Important Instructions

The registration process is mandatory for a student to appear in the board examinations. All the CBSE-affiliated schools have to submit a list of students appearing for the exam to the board after due cross-checking all the details.

Some important instructions to be considered while submitting the registration form include: 

• Make sure the spelling of the name of the Student/Mother/Father/Guardian is exactly the same as mentioned in the birth certificate.
• The candidate’s date of birth must be the same as mentioned in the birth certificate and maintained as per the admission and withdrawal register by the school.
• The complete name of the student and Mother/Father/Guardian must be mentioned. Abbreviations and nicknames are not allowed.
• Make sure that all the information presented while doing registration must is similar in all the documents including DOB Certificate, School Records, Aadhaar Card, etc. 
• Mother's name should be mentioned as applicable after marriage.
• The details that are required to be filled in during the registration process include the date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, aadhar card number, subject details, etc.
• The application form once submitted cannot be changed or edited later under any circumstances.
