The CBSE class 10 toppers list has not been released in 2025. However, CBSE has announced overall, and gender-wise pass percentages, along with other statistics in CBSE Class 10 Result 2025. The CBSE has declared the Class 10 Result on 13 May 2025 on the official website- cbseresults.nic.in.
- A total of 22,38,827 students appeared for exam, out of which 2,221,636 students have passed the CBSE Class 10 exam, with the overall pass percentage of 93.60%.
- The Girls have again outperformed the boys by 2.37%, by getting the pass percentage of 95.00% as compared to 92.63%.
- The Southern region has the highest pass percentage, with Trivandrum and Vijayawada top the list with an outstanding pass percentage of 99.79%, followed by Bengaluru (98.9%) and Chennai (98.71%).
Although the CBSE has not released an official merit list to discourage unhealthy competition, many schools will independently award their best-performing students.

CBSE Class 10 toppers’ names have not been released but gender-wise pass percentage and other result statistics of CBSE Class 10 Result 2025 are provided here. In the CBSE Class 10, a total of 2,371,939 students appeared for the exam, out of which 2,221,636 have passed the CBSE Class 10 exam, resulting in a 93.66% pass percentage.
- The Girls have the highest pass percentage of 95.00% as compared to the boys, i.e, 92.63%; the girls have outperformed by 2.37%.
- The Transgender students have also seen an improvement, by getting a pass percentage of 95.00%. The CWSN students excelled with a pass percentage of 96.02%.
- 199,944 students scored above 90%, and 45,516 students scored above 95%. However, 5.96% of students (1,32,337 students) are in the compartment category. Total Candidates Scoring Above 95% are 47,983 and Total Candidates Scoring Above 90% are 2,12,384

CBSE Class 10 Toppers 2025: Gender-wise Pass Percentage
In the CBSE Class 10, the girls have outperformed the boys by 2.37%, with a pass percentage of 95.00% compared to 92.63%. Transgender students improved, recording a 95.00% pass rate compared to 91.30% in 2024.

CBSE Class 10 Toppers 2025: Region-Wise Performance
In the CBSE Class 10 region-wise performance, the southern region has seen the highest marks in CBSE Class 10, Trivandrum and Vijayawada top the list with an outstanding pass percentage of 99.79%, followed by Bengaluru (98.9%) and Chennai (98.71%).
Other areas, like Pune (96.54%), Ajmer (95.44%), and Delhi West (95.24%), also show good performance.
A decline and below-average performance have been seen in northern and eastern areas, with Prayagraj at 91.01%, Dehradun at 91.6%, and Patna at 91.9%. Noida (89.41%) and Guwahati (84.14%) are the worst-performing areas, signifying that problems exist in these regions.

CBSE Class 10 Toppers List 2022
CBSE class 10 board exams in 2022 were conducted in two terms - term 1 and term 2. The final toppers’ names were announced after the declaration of the term 2 results. CBSE 10th term 2 results were declared on July 22, 2022. Mayank Yadav from Noida and Divya Namdev from Uttar Pradesh topped the board exams with perfect 500 marks.

CBSE Class 10 Toppers List 2021
The class 10 board exams of CBSE were cancelled in the year 2021 due to the pandemic. Students were evaluated based on the evaluation criteria issued by the board providing weightage to marks of internal assessments and previous years. In 2021, CBSE recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.04%. The pass percentage of girls was 99.24% while that of boys was recorded at 98.89%.
Students who scored above 90% marks accounted for more than 2 lakh. A total of 57,824 students scored 95% and more marks. The table below contains the name of the CBSE class 10 toppers 2021:

CBSE Class 10 Toppers List 2020
CBSE conducted class 10 board exams for main subjects from February 15 to March 20, 2020. The results were declared on July 15, 2020. Overall 91.46% of students passed the class 10 examinations. A total of 18,73,015 candidates appeared for the exams. Above 41,000 students scored 95% marks.

The overall pass percentage in CBSE class 10 results 2018 was 86.70%. Four students scored 499 out of 500 marks securing the first rank. Out of the four toppers, 3 are female candidates. The pass percentage of girls was 88.67% and of boys was 85.32%. The top three regions with the maximum pass percentage were Trivandrum (99.60%), Chennai (97.37%), and Ajmer (91.86%).
