Review of Department of Germanic and romance studies.

Likes

Teachers who teach us are very kind to us. They always help students
Course structure is normal which can be easily covered.

Dislikes

I don't like H.O.D here. They are very lazy in their work and always make desperency that puts students in trouble.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I paid around 5200/- for taking admission in this course . I got admission in very first round of C.U.E.T at 600 cuet score. You can get admission here easily as you can see i got admission here in just 600 (as a general student). that 5200 is yearly fees and they ask fees for exam at the end of every semester. They don't ask you have to fill the form online. I heard that last year our seniors got placement in Amazon around 10 students got the placement which is more than other courses.

Department for the study purposes not for enjoyment

Likes

Faculties are well educated and they taught in a simpler way and they are friendly with the students.
It comes under the Faculty of Arts where only masters courses are available but their is only language course which is taught in the department.It is very good for study purposes.

Dislikes

Rooms doesn't have ac and also doesn't have any field or groud where you can play games like cricket or football
This department does not have the facilities like colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

When I got the admission in the year 2023 my fees was 5270 which is not higher and every year Delhi University take out financial support scheme for the students who is financially weak in which if someone's family income is below 400000 his/her 100% fee will be refunded and if his/her family income is below 800000 his/her 50% fee will be refunded

All about my campus

Likes

Overall experience in department of Germanic and romance studies is quite fun because that place has its own peace
Amazing people with their good nature pretty good garden

Dislikes

I don't hate anything but the food of canteen is not much better
Water cooler does not work properly and the quality is also not good

It does not cost much to do this course One year fees would be around Rs 5000 or examination fees would be different which would be around Rs 1200-1400 per semester. Departments provide scholarships in every language. In which the language in which the students are sent: Country

Information about Department of Germanic and Romance studies

Likes

The teacher are very supportive and helpful. they are the best and they teaches the foreign language from the very beginning
Overall, this department is a great place much better than any other college.

Dislikes

There are a bunch of societies in the university, but all are inactive and since the total strength of the department is quite low

The total fees of this course (including tution fees , service fees and other compulsory charges) is very low which is 5272 rupees still there is severals of scholarships are available for students .

An overview of DGRS

Likes

The campus is beautiful and full of greenery and all of this refreshes the mood after lectures.
Course fee is low with greater scopes after the completion of the course.

Dislikes

The supply of drinking water is very bad. Water smells like chemicals and isn't good for drinking.
There are not many fests which makes it sometimes king of boring.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As per now, there are no such hikes in the semester fees of the students. The increment of fees is only for the new batches. Per semester fees is around 4200 INR and exam fee is around 1600 INR making a total expenditure of 5800 INR per semester. Various scholarships and financial aid programs are held by the University of Delhi throughout the year and you can have further information about them on the official website of the University of Delhi.

An Overall look on DGRS

Likes

The environment is very peaceful and one can study well in different areas of the campus.
There is no involvement in the politics so there is no such rush as other colleges.

Dislikes

The supply of drinking water is not good enough and the water smells like chlorine.
The optional courses are taught in other colleges so students have to go there to attend their classes which is a bit troubling.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As of now, there isn't any hike in the tution fees of the students. Per semester fees is around 5200 INR and exam fees is around 1800 INR, resulting in a complete cost of study being 7000 INR. There are scholarship and financial aid programes for the economically weaker students, for more information one can check the official website of the University of Delhi.

A life changing course

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is very low like it's 3k-4k only per year. You have to pay but you will have to pay the examination fee and your regular fare to college. The department also provides scholarships in the third year where you can go to Spain and teach the student English and you can learn the language.

Have a look before you decide your future in Italian honours.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee is Rs-3150/- per anum. It's very budget-friendly. Scholarship facilities are not there and also there are no campus jobs. But there are placement facilities. If you want to do any internship you have to do on your own, there is no college involvement in this process.
