Our campus life is good and campus is very beautiful also try to make more good .

Dislikes

Where the college located, their is no more shop which is very disappoint.
The lab is not so good, there is not quite equipment here.
Regular classes are missing, there are some specific classes, one day there is no class but on tha other day there is 4/6 classes.

Hostel facility is available in the campus
Some faculty professors are good enough with proper quality
The behaviour of some official stuffs are good

Dislikes

Campus life and social interaction in the college is not so good
There is no any cultural club for practicing the extra curricular activities of talented students
Placement is not so good due to many reasons and the thing which lacks most is the culture of growing together

Placement Experience:

As it is a new college which was established in the year of 2016, the placement scenario is not very good. The students of the batch 2021 to 23 got good placements, but placement have to be improved very much

Here the atmosphere of the college is very good.
In this there is no political issues.. so no political chaos.
teachers are very supportive .. they are very much friendly like..

Dislikes

our college is in remote area,.. So the communication is not so good..
there is no any market and medical near by the college..
Except this types of issues there is no other problems

students are eligible for placements from 7 th semester.. Name of the companies that would visit in college are tcs,infosys,wipro,deltax etc highest package is 8.5lpa average package is 4 lpa. My paln after degree is to persue mtech.. or taking placemnt from college

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Likes

Environment, Facilities, Faculty members , unity among students.
The college is at a very calming and environmentally healthy place away from the noise and pollutions of city area.
The faculty members are all nice to all the students and the support everyone

Dislikes

There are lack of external facilities such as transport and food as the college a bit isolated from the central Purulia city
Well there are extreme weather conditions in Purulia so the same applies to the natural conditions of the colleges well
And the condition of the road outside the college is not the best.

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is not one of the best in India but also not the worst. The average package from this college is around 4.5 to 6.5 lakhs per annum which is I think pretty decent for a college that is affordable to almost 90% of the students applying for b.tech courses. Companies like TCS and Infosys are the top companies that come for hiring in my college.

Honest Review about RKMGEC Purulia

The fee structure of our college is very less as compared to other private colleges in West Bengal.
The placement scenario in our college is very decent as compared to most private colleges in West Bengal.
Our college is relatively new, so there is no politics or ragging in our college.

Dislikes

The location of our college is very remote which causes trouble.
The food served in hostel is not too good but food is healthy and hygienic.
Although 100% attendance is not compulsory in our college, some professors insist on attending class daily.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements as soon as they complete their 6th semester (3rd year). A lot of tech companies visit our campus like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE etc. This year the highest package offered was 21 LPA by amazon to a ECE graduate. The average package offered in CSE branch is around 6 LPA. Almost every student in CSE who opts for placements gets placed in some good company. My plan is to join startup as a coder after completing my B.Tech degree

there are ragging free campus in our college

There are poor communication and transport system
No hostels for first and second year male students
The college is very far away from purulia town

This is the only part where our college excels at. Average placement in our college is 85%. There are many companies visits in our college like TCS , Infosys , Cognizent , Wipro , IBM, etc. From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement.

I liked the campus. Its's soothing environment.

The students are allowed to do their in-campus interships from 3rd year.The placements are provided at the end of 3rd year as per the eligiblity criteria of the company.Till now many companies like TCS,Wipro , Cognizant , Tech Mahindra etc have visted our college with an average package of 4.5 lakh pa and highest went upto 20 lakhs pa.
