Computer science and engineering has the brightest future and it is leading the job opportunity so thought of future opportunities and joined the course. Enough faculties are there 1:40 Awesome teachers are there all are reachable every time It is difficult to. Pass the exam if not prepared well

The placement system is updated nowadays. We have a different placement cell team to contact the recruiter. And offline campusing are alap there. Out of 65 more than 50 people are working for different companies like TCS, INFOSYA, CAPGEMINI, COGNIGENT etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees are normal for a government engineering college 6000 rupees per semester. You can get scholarships like MERIT CUM MEANS, NSP, OBC etc. Faculties are ready to support you in applying for scholarships. There are dedicated faculties responsible for scholarship

Campus Life

Fest is important. The name changes every year. Last time it was " OIKYATAN ". Students arrange the money check the expense and collect from students. And teachers. All help in everything. Sports are there every year.

By appearing at WBJEE after counseling I got the opportunity to join. HS passed with 60% min marks it will help in the placement process also Online form fill up in WBJEE website Yes OBC category applied during counselling

Good- Engineering College Review

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem.tcs,infosys,ctz. The highest package is 7 lakh. Avg is 4 lakh. 80 to 90 percent. Do a job in its company. This is my opinion in placement review. TPO cell is good. and give facilities to the student.

Campus Placements of students used to happen but because of the pandemic we are here giving offline placements and preparing from online classes. As far as I know, 50% of my classmates have got placed at different companies with a good package. One of the students got placed at Glassgow Scotland with a package of around 30LPA. The average percentage required to get placed in any company is like 60-70%. I am preparing for Govt job exams and also for different IT companies. All you need is hard work, self-study, and consistent effort so that you can fulfill the company's requirements.

Remarks:

The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Honest Review about RKMGEC Purulia

The admission process through WBJEE is relatively simple. At first you have to get a decent enough rank in WBJEE examination (mine was 6800 GEN Quota) and then fill up the correct preference order during counseling. The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet.
