- The faculties are really helpful and friendly which makes the realation between teachers and students healthy .
- The placements in terms of return of investment is not bad.
- College rules are very strict regarding ragging and anti ragging committee has been made for that.
Dislikes
- On campus placements in terms of digits is terrible,
- Lab facilities needs to be improved in order to make students knowledgeable with the practical field.

Course Curriculum Overview
Basically , as ECE is considered as evergreen course , so in the field of semiconductor, communication system and hardware Zero application with real time application. Syllabus should be upgraded. In my perspective frequency and timing of exams is completely ok on their difficulty level
Placement Experience
From ROI perspective placements are fair enough ., otherwise it is terrible, specially recession is going on so IT companies offer very low packages to students. Cognizant, TCS, wipro, So-tronics, veda IIT , Infosys these companies are more likely to recruit with their mass recruitment process. 50 % are almost get placed and some of them opt for higher studies and some of them remains unemployed.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the the time of admission I paid around 10k (rs 10,700) where the seat allotment fees 5k was included and that will be deducted while paying tution ( sem) fees ( whichever sem you want ). Fees structure per semester is rs 6k for CSE & ECE dept. and 3k per semester for ME, EE & CE dept. Student scored more than 60% can apply for svmcm scholarship and SC & ST students can apply for OASIS scholarship ( even if they scored below 60% ). There are also many scolarships accordingly. So, for CSE , ECE total fees is 48k and for rest of the dept.s it is 24k and you also need to pay rs 1200 per semester as exam fees
Campus Life
campus life is okayish here . Every year a tech fest is held here in order to get students engaged with their tech skills. club involvement is not much , nss sometimes gets activite . sports and extracurricular activities offered on campus are good. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is sufficient and it keeps improving.
Admission
Because i was not getting any better college with the rank I had. No, i didn't get any rejection from another college. WBJEE exam is the way to get entered in this college , then counseling process is being held in order to filter the students with their respective rank and category.
Faculty
So , the relation between professors and students are friendly and healthy . Students facing and kind of issues in terms of academics, mental, financial should feel free to contact them . As i belong to ECE dept. so from my perception Dr. Mainak saha sir & Santigopal Maity sir are the best one. Honestly I have no personal issue with any single faculty so there is no faculty I dislike. So , semester exams are being held 1 time in 6 month , there is nothing related to mid sem and. Internal exams are being conducted 4 times per semester from which best of the 4 marks is considered in semester and get added in cgpa. There is no criteria of fail or something, to be specific students gettong below 40% per suubject is considered as backlogged with promoted to next semester.
