The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

I am a UEM student

Likes

The scorse stracture are very good , subject selection is very nice.
Rules and Regulations of this college are very good.
The faculty members are very helpful, the are teaching properly.

Placement Experience:

College placement is very good. Many types of companies are coming to our college to take a in-campus placement like - TCS, Wipro, cognizant, etc many students crack Google, Amazon, and Microsoft placement also.

Likes

The placement offer by the university is too good with a perfect education given by the university.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from the first year itself because the university itself has there own classes for the placements. In this University a lot of companies gave jobs to the students. Many students get more than one job.

Nothing is there, that I have disliked about this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internships from 2nd year itself, and they start their placement in the mid of 3rd year. The companies which have visited our college till now are namely, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, etc.

A Common Student of UEM

Likes

The way how our teachers teaches us is one of the best thing here.
The on campus placement which our college provides.
The workshops which are conducted on weekends are great .

Dislikes

The college campus is little small as it is in main town.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement at the University of Engineering and Management Kolkata is great. Several companies visit our campus for providing placements. Our college provides enough opportunities to all the students. A few companies are Tcs, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Flipkart, Byjues, etc.

The smart classes are one of my favourite
The campus is maintaining discipline, culture.The campus is strictly anti-ragging campus
The labs are equipped more than enough, so that no one got any trouble

Dislikes

The timing of college is too much to us.
The faculties are giving to many assignments

Placement Experience:

According to the college, after completing the 6th semester the students are ready to sit on campus placement exam. Many famous corporate companies came to take placement exams like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT etc The students got a decent amount of packages, the minimum packages are greater than 5lacs per annum. Till now, the highest packages are 72 lacs per annum

There are many sports curriculum like cricket football badminton.
Every year our college held a annual fest in the campus
Placement are much more better in every year.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Wipro, IBM, and TCS visited the college campus for placement. The highest package is 52LPA, and the lowest package is 5LPA. 90% of students get placement from the campus. I will do M.Tech after B.Tech.

Likes

Good faculties with genuine knowledge friendly afterall
No ragging no smoking in campus area ..if you caught you will be punished
Almost every student get placed with good package

Dislikes

Boarding campus life u have to enter the college within 9:30 and you have not any access to leave campus before 4:15pm

You can sit in campus placement from 3rd year and so many renowned companies come to our college during placement time, Among them the mass recruiters are tcs, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, HBC, PWC, Adobe and almost every student got one offer many of them got 2 or 3. This year's highest package offer is 33 lakh and the average package is around 4.5 lakh.

Good college for B.tech

Likes

Placement is enough good in our college
There are many extra degree and extra branch of cse like Iot, AIML, data scientist
Faculties are well trained and passed from renounced collge

Dislikes

There are a lots of student in core cse group about 400 student
There are few more extra subject we have to study which is annoying for us

From the 6th sem students will be available for placement. Companies like TCS, wipro, and Capgemini visit in our college. average package is 600000 per year and the highest package is 72 lakhs per year. 98%student getting placement

UEM, Kolkata: Review from a 2nd year student

Likes

The best thing of my colleage is good placement. If you study good then definitely you'll get a job on campus.
The facilities are really helpful and friendly. Here you can prepare for any government job like UPSC , WBCS, GATE at free of cost . If you're interested then collage will provide you extra classes.
The college make you some extra subjects which will help us in your professional life.

Dislikes

The campus is very little. No playground for playing football, cricket. But it has a underground where you can play theses stuffs.
The number of students in CSE is very high. So you've to study hard to get the highest package from others.
The fee's structure is very expensive compared to other colleges in West Bengal.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very great in our college. More than 92% students of every year got placed in many companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, MindTree, Oracle, Infosys, etc. The average package is around 4.5 lakh/annum. Some of the students also get a 10lakh+ package. So in conclusion, if you only focused on your placement then obviously take admission to UEM.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
