We have s technical supritendent who has a 15 or more years experience in shipping and through his studies students learn alot. Her we have some Phd holders who have no knowledge abt the shipping but they also try there best to learn themselves and also teach the cadets. The course includes abt the main engine studies of ship and auxiliary machinaries. The marks allotment is divided into 30 70 pattern, 30 internal and 70 end exams. Internal marks given on the basis of cadet performance in internals exams and completing of his task in given time.

The course include technical studies and plus some management level studies on basic level. Exam criteria is 50%. The division is 30 internal and 70 exam paper. From 100, 50 is passing. The exams for odd semester is conducted in the month of December and for even semester in the month of June. 2 Internal test between the courses.

Any weekday in college was like classes from morning 9:00 am to evening 5:00 pm. All the faculties were highly experienced & had illustrious career behind them, before joining our college as faculty members.All of them were in the ranks of captain or chief engineers.some personality development courses are also conducted by institute.

We have only two to three lectures in a day, most of them are visiting faculties with great years of experience in the field some of them are our seniors, they share their experiences in the job with us and most of them are either IIT graduates or hold a PhD.

The faculties that we have here are mostly visiting faculties. There are very confident and full of experience with this field. There are some permanent faculties who are as equally talented too. They teach us efficiently all the concepts of this complex course in an easy manner.

The faculty is one of the most prestigious people of the navy, with their highly trained skills and dominating presence. I highly admired my teachers as I wanted to where they stood themselves.Their guidance meant a lot to me and other students.

The faculty teachers are very highly trained and smart. All the teachers have very broad knowledge about their topics and subjects and this type of experience they are always there to clear out any doubts of the students.

You will have 2-3 lectures daily. Most faculties will be visiting. Most of them were marine backgrounds like CE, Captain and few of them will be from M.tech from IIT of PhD holder. The senior role is very important in this field, so they will be always there for you.

During my time faculties were mostly visiting faculties since I was the first batch of B-Tech, but even after that visiting faculties were highly experienced and confident. But now University have started with permanent faculties who are highly experienced as the by my juniors.
