The faculty of our department is so efficient at their work ,their teaching methodologies are quite helpful.
The college is not to big but it's so beautiful and look well discipline
Due to its comprehensive approach to learning business fundamentals, management principles, and practical skills, i chose this course.

Dislikes

Staff coordination - No doubt they are knowledgeable but their behaviour is soo bad towards students even more for the students who are not regular in their classes
Even though infrastructure is nice but washrooms are really bad and not cleaned properly. Insipte of many complaints from students no step was taken during my three years to keep the washrooms clean
Washrooms conditions get worsened sometimes

Infrastructure of rhe college is very good like labs, library, computer centres they help us to enhance our learning
My college give us opportunity to all the student to part the extracurricular activities that's help to build confidence, communication skills, strength . My college provide many technical fest like TRAP and cultural event so student active all fest
Also societies conduct seminar like PRATIKSHA statistics department organize workshop, seminar, magazine publication that student engage and also this college have very good environment for the student

Dislikes

The canteen and the garden of the college is not clean .Canteen and garden environment is not very good its so unhygienic
This college is so strict for the attendance policy , attendance affect our internal marks and eligibility of exam that gives stress for students
The placement opportunity is very less is could be better for the student

Placement Experience:

My college is not very good in placement because of the covid 19 before the covid 19 the placement was very good. Average package of the statistics course is 5.85 lakh and the highest package is 23 lakh. In my college Statistics course got 3 position for good placement. Those student have third year that can apply for placement and also got 8 CGP in their exams

Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences For Women, University of Delhi

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is very beautiful
Teaching staff was quite intellectual and helping
College is full of greenary and beautiful seasonal flowers

Dislikes

Sanitation of college washrooms is not good
Classrooms don't have AC's so it becomes very difficult in summers
College fests are also not that much good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was bachelor in statistics honours and was a quite practical subject. All my core topics were practical based subjects and were very informative. The subject were a bit difficult but if we practice them then they were very interesting.

I liked the fact that the faculty is very much experienced. They actually take the pain to teach and guide the students in every possible manner. It is a very big plus point pf my college.
I liked the infrastructure too. The building is nice and the classrooms are in good condition.
My course is another aspect to be proud of. It offers various opportunities and opens doors to many career options. It does promises a bright future. Of

Dislikes

The washrooms need improvement. Though they are cleaned regularly but there is still more which can be done. Exhaust fans should be installed and the soap kept should be of better quality.
There is delay in basic functioning of things such as giving ID cards to students. Many students, even after completing one year in college, have still not got their ID cards.
The college also needs to improve its placement records. It should jetwork with more companies so that more students can get on campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I study is Statistics. It offers wide range of career options from data science to teaching. Even if a student is average, the course can still get them a decent amount of earnings. The curriculum includes various methods to analyse data and check its reliability. This is very important in today's world since all of the companies work on some kind of data only. The course curriculum focuses more on rote learning and performing calculations. It do covers the practical aspect too but it is not sufficient. The practical to learning ratio should be at least 70:30 since most of the calculation part cam be done using softwares readily available in the market for free. The curriculum should be more focused on developing the analytical skills of the students. The DU conducts exams twice in a year. I feel this is sufficient. The colleges should take regular class tests in between so that the syllabus does not seem too heavy at the end of the session.
