I chose this course because I was always fascinated by medicine and the process of healing. Next about the faculty-student ratio I would say that our college has a huge number of professors pgts who are always ready to help through our course. the faculty members have remarkable degrees they are MBBS, MD, etc. in their respective fields.
The exams here that we have are yearly i.e. the council exam. Other than that we have internal exams twice or thrice a year.
Helpful seniors I love most of my seniors they are so helpful.
Gym inside the campus and lot other facilities inside the campus that are absent in the peripheral colleges.
High quality faculty they are ready to help the students you just have to ask for help.

Toxic culture among few batchmates that prevails in almost all colleges .

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
The library is huge and is the perfect place for studying
On-campus auditorium is present which is very large

Nearest metro stations Belgachia and Shyambazar are quite some distance away.
There is no direct bus from my home to the college

The course is 5.5 years. In this tenure of time, 4.5 years is for study and 1 year is for internship. In the time period of 4.5 years, one has to pass 9 semesters and 4 professional examinations with minimum marks of 50% in every subject. In total, there are 19 subjects. The professors in our college is so much helpful, every time available, the teaching process of some of them is so good that you can learn the topic for a lifetime.

All 19 subjects over a span of 4 and 1/2 years. Excellent balance over the preclinical, clinical and para-clinical subjects. The teachers here are excellent and the practicals are great. We get to attend clinics go to wards and get a lot of patient exposure early for our education. The semester exams occur routinely.

After Clearing the Internship, anyone can apply for further studies like preparation for NEET PG/ NEXT, USMLE, and FMGE for higher studies, or can apply to different clinics hospitals, set up a chamber etc. in Future, if possible, I want to become a either a Gynecologist or a good Pediatrician.
