Through a Khalus Lens: Unveiling R.G.Kar

The hostel rooms are decent. Bed and mattress are provided. Tables and chairs may be provided. Proper UV water filtration units are placed in every floor. Meal quality is decent and is quite affordable, like 40-45 for a veg meal and 50-70 for a non-meal depending upon the items. At the time of admission a hostel allotment form is needed to be filled and the hostels are allotted within one month. The monthly rent of hostel is 12 only( perk of being in a government medical college). If one wants to rent a room or stay in pg, they are available just behind the campus of the college or within 1-2km radius of the college campus mainly in Shyambazar and Belgachia area.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

First year girls hostel is a dormitory. Rooms are always better. Dormitory is dirty and not maintained. Bathrooms are also dirty.

In first year there is on campus hostel for girls and off campus hostel for boys . 2 dormitories are given to girls which are not that good to be honest .But in second year you will be shifted to a vnlh which is a good quality hostel. Boys hostel for first year is in Maniktala (10mins away in bus) . This is in good condition, 3 sharing rooms are provided. We have 4 canteens in our campus and all of them provide with good quality food in affordable price . Veg , nonveg everything is available.Srays open even on weekend. Hostel allotment is very easy , you will get it without hastle as abundant rooms are available. You just have to submit an application for that. If you want to rent a pg then you can choose TALA area. It's in 5 min walking distance. Pg costs 3k in share with 3 .

Hostel facility is also good. There are 4 student in each hostel room, which is enough comfortable. The hostel is allloted according to the distance of the college from home and also financial condition. Hostel gives 2 times meal in a day, which is healthy and teasty.

3-4 people occupy a single room. We are provided with beds, mattresses, and tables. A mess is there where both veg and non-veg food are available. The hostel price is very nominal with 12rs per month. A hostel form is given at the time of admission. And the hostel is allotted According to distance.

RG kar medical college, a great medical college

The hostel facilities are also great. The hostel has a room of 4 people with a 24/7 supply of water and electricity which is the best part. We don't have to worry about those in the hostel. The meals are provided by the mess which is also fairly decent and cheap.

Hostel facilities are quite good. All rooms of our hostel are very clean for these special thanks to our cleaning worker. In each and every room light and fan ratio is 1:1 Which is quite good I think. The quality of the meal is also very good.

The lady's hostel provides one room for 4 people. It provides one bed, trunk, and rack. Meal quality is average with normal Bengali and non-bengali menus for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
