Course Curriculum Overview

All 19 subjects over a span of 4 and 1/2 years. Excellent balance over the preclinical, clinical and para-clinical subjects. The teachers here are excellent and the practicals are great. We get to attend clinics go to wards and get a lot of patient exposure early for our education. The semester exams occur routinely.

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee is 2k as of 2021 with semester fees for 6 months being 4.5k. I didn't receive any scholarship as such. But people do get certain scholarships overall. Either from their school life or later on

Campus Life

There are academic fests conducted each year before the Lobelia I.e the main big fest of the year around August-September. A great lot of books are available in our library and can be easily issued to study whenever required.

Admission

The admission process was smooth and the faculty members and seniors were very helpful. Admission occurs at the Platinum jubilee building inside the college campus and the payment is also in the same building so there's absolutely no chaos.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Best medical College in west bengal

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
