The college has many canteens with variety of foods at affordable prices
The library is very well stacked and spacious
The auditorium is air conditioned , large and spacious

Dislikes

The space outside the college is very congested
The distance from Belgachia metro and Shyambazar metro to the college is a lot .
The is low availability of buses from home to college directly

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always wanted to become a doctor and hence chose this profession. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 and there are adequate professors to help out the students in times of need. The professors are highly qualified and teach the students with the latest facilities available. Semester and proffesor exams are conducted timely. The students have to study very well to pass these exams

Class Size: 250Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After four years of MBBS course, the students are offered one year of rotating internship. The faculty and seniors are very helpful. The internship is done throughout all departments in the college and is very helpful for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college is very nominal and affordable for all economic sections of students. Throughout the years the fees have remained the same and thus we are able to avail the best facilities, resources, and faculty at a minimum cost.

Campus Life

The campus life in this college is very vibrant and lively. There is an annual cultural fest held each year which showcases the talent of all the students. Medifests are also held which help students pursue their academic interests. The college regularly organizes sports events throughout the year. The college also has a gym and a music room.

Admission

I cracked NEET in 2021 and got admitted to this college in the first round of counseling. The admission process was very smooth and hassle-free. This college is one of the premier medical colleges in West Bengal.

The course curriculum is quite well maintained till 3rd year but the final year syllabus is too vast to complete within 1 year. I feel duration has to be increased a bit. The process of acquiring knowledge entirely depends on the individual pursuing this course as there is no spoonfeeding as in other courses.

Placement Experience:

If you can pass the exam that is very tough to pass if you're not serious at all, you'll be able enough to get into any nursing home or you can start treating people staring your own clinic. After 4.5 years you get the internship program that is mandatory to do for all where you get a salary of 32000 per month which is highest among all states . If you manage to be in the top 100 students of the batch of 250 you get one year job in the same hospital with a fees of 50000 and just 48 hours duty per week. If you do nursing home you can get around 70-90k per month based on how much you spent time on work .

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB.
