Academic excellence: bmsce is renowned for its academic excellence, with a faculty comprised of highly qualified professors who are experts
The scholarship is applied to all students who can make use of it and it can be applied by caste certificate campus selection is good in college and the campus is too cool and eco-friendly.
The computer labs, the canteens, the greenery, the cleanliness, the faculty, the clubs, the enjoyment opportunities as well as the academic opportunities. the college also provides a lot of opportunities to study abroad for masters degree

Dislikes

The hostel facility is really bad they have only one hostel inside campus and other 4 are outside the main campus
Tuition fess is ok but it can be reduced because kcet people have half the fees than comedk.there is no scholarship present for comedk students, campus provide very good faculty in few streams and few bad faculty in bad.
Curriculum was really bad for us as we were the batch who joined after corona thing so it was very disturbed so many postponements took place students got really stressed and they protested too .

Placements, college events, college clubs
Staff support,this college,s environment is good
Climate is chill.connectivity to the college is also good

Dislikes

College campus is very small,the ground is also small
Exam,s valuation is strict and the marks are not given so easily
The sports complex is very small and that much sports cannot be palyed

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students become eligible for campus placements . I am not familiar with the no of offers made but I can tell you about the companies:amazon, Mercedes Benz,volvo etc Highest package was 50 lpa last year

The college seen by me and myself

Likes

The college is good during the rainy season
The placement record of past 5 years is very good
The overall college infrastructure and the campus is good

Dislikes

The campus is very small as compared to other colleges
The exam correction is very strict and scoring marks is very difficult
The gap between two internals is less than a month and it is difficult to move with the speed of lecturer

Placement Experience:

Placement are really great for mechanical engineering in our college and provides an average package of 9 lakh per year. We get to train for placement from our 7th semester.one of the most reputed companies come here for hiring.almost 60-65% of the students get placed here every year so it's a great achievement.

Placement Experience:

After the 5-6th sem of Engineering, students will be able to sit in the campus placements based on the CGPA students have got in the previous sems and percentage in your education field. I'm planning to sit for the placements if I didn't get I'm purely interested in doing business.

Honest and quick

Likes

good infrastructure and good amount of nature even within the city
no space for any type of bullying or ragging of any sort and facilitates student teacher communication
good support for all types of field sports and organizing sport tournaments and good opportunities for sports quota students.

Dislikes

very small ground ,could have much better if had a huge football turf ground, can't complain too as it is within the city
students are not allowed to bring their four wheelers inside college campus

Placement Experience:

1)from 7 the semester students with no backlogs are eligible for direct college placements 2)40 to 50 lakhs for computer science and 10lakh avg for mechanical 3)8.5 cgpa are firstly considered for placements through college 4)higher studies or a job depending on my final scores

College have good campus with all equipment facilities which is required for respective courses
No ragging and harassment in campus and out of campus
Many clubs are there so that we can show our talent

Dislikes

Campus is not that big and no proper ground.
All other deciplinary such as Architecture, Law etc are in same campus
Strict paper correction in SEM end exams

Placement Experience:

As in world Inflation is running obviously the placement is droped. But to get placement good college is not only parameters we also need to acquire skill sets which is required for current Market. CS/IS and circuit branch have decent placement but core placement is not up to the mark.

Likes

The small campus size and delay in multiple deadlines

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good according to the education system. The topics covered in all the subjects are good and not too difficult for the level of students. The difficulty increase is gradual and students do not suffer from a lot of pressure at least in the initial semesters.

The college has a good curriculum and the time table is well planned and provides us sufficient time for extra activities and personal growth.
The infrastructure and the facilitates provided are very good.
The college is in a central area in Bangalore where everything you require is easily accessible.

Dislikes

The exams dates are never finalised and keep changing until the last moment.
The college is strict with their attendance policy where you require a minimum of 85% attendance in each subject.
The campus is small as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

More than 1000 offers were made to 1300 eligible students during 2023. We have more than 350 reputed National and multinational companies visiting the campus for placements. The placement rate for 2022 was 80% and the median package offered was 8.24 lakhs.

Infrastructure is good and the instruments are great and in working condition.
Campus is clean and well maintained with all facilities.
Labs are well equipped with all the things we need

Dislikes

Campus is too small compared to other colleges.
Lot to study and less time for extra curricular activities

Placement Experience:

College has a very good placements record for our branch compared to other colleges. Company placements can be applied from 3rd year. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Big companies like Mercedes Benz, Boeing etc visit for placements.

B.M.S College through my eyes

Remarks:

I have heard that B.M.S college of Engineering hold 1st position in B.Tech programs in Bangalore and this university also gives better opportunity of placement than other Engineering colleges . So I have chosen this university. To take admission firstly I have applied for COMED-K exam and appeared for this exam. Finally I got the selection letter through score of COMED-K exam.
