St Xavier's Mumbai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course BSc as i have to pursue a career in UPSC and need a Bsc career for it for every 60 students there is one faculty who guides and inspires students. Qualification of Faculties are Master in their respective field and few are PhD. term exams were held twice a year and are decently tough to score very good marks

The college has a placement cell. Many reputed companies like McKinsey, EY, Citi Bank, Bain, PwC, AT Kerney, Times Internet etc visit the campus every year for placements. Highest package is around INR 15 LPA(ATKerney & Citi Bank), Avg around 5 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. (Numbers are not official numbers). 30-40% of students who sit for placement get placed (This is my observation, not official numbers) Some students choose to go abroad to pursue their masters. I continued masters within India.

I want to explore mumbai so I chose to study int best college in mumbai also famous personalities like Mukesh Ambani,salman khan,Aditya Roy Kapoor are from Xavier's College. The main reason was that it is the only college visited by former American President Barrack Obama back in 2012.

I have no idea about the placements in the college. But there is surely a college placement cell that takes care of the placements of the college. People usually get placed in the desired companies with a nice package.

My college is very good. They give a lot of importance to discipline besides academics and extra curricular activities. Faculties are very good. And the college gives us a lot of opportunities to explore our hidden talents
